with one lunatic for every person in the scheme.
Everyone has an office. You walk through the door,
and they laugh in your face. They say: "Come back tomorrow!"
Tomorrow means you start at the end of the line again.
They just laugh and say: "Hey, pay the processing fee!"
So you go back, and the lunatic tells you:
"The boss isn't in today!" — yeah, right.
Then you show up again, feeling totally miserable:
"There's a new law now, come back in two weeks!"
Two weeks later you swing by, and there's a new lunatic sitting there:
"It's expired!" — they laugh — "That fee doesn't count anymore!"
Look, no matter how insulting that poem is, I actually have to address this part specifically, because I've dealt with it firsthand.
Nowadays, everyone acts like their own boss. Everyone plays at being some big shot, charging you for useless crap over and over... it just goes to show how we function as a legal and social nation.
It's honestly pathetic that people get jobs based on who they know (which isn't even news) and how thick their envelope is, instead of hiring competent, capable people that the US actually needs to move forward.

Yeah... that was pretty much what I was getting at.
I don't really care, though. Like, what exactly was he trying to accomplish with that post? I honestly can't wrap my head around his logic...🤷

Well, nobody's stopping you from feeling that way. You have my permission to be offended if you must. 🙂
But that’s exactly what makes this poem so rich... because everyone just stays quiet and keeps their own opinions to themselves, tucked away... 🙂

You’ve always stayed true to me, you crazy bastard.
I know your honest opinions hit the mark every time.
When things were hitting the fan, you stood right by my side,
so why wouldn't you help me get what I want?
I won't leave your business to some idiot nephew.
Let him give me a laugh while I'm heading out to war.
He can have his little residence in a two-story villa
and serve as the keeper of my seal.
This poem is eerily spot-on when it comes to calling out almost all our failures and twisted logic.
It takes more than just guts to write something like this; you need real backbone.
