A video recently surfaced online showing a young boy being interrogated at the detention camp in Guantanamo Bay.

The footage captures a 16-year-old Canadian citizen, Omar Khadr, being questioned by Canadian military officers back in 2003.

Omar Khadr was just fifteen years old when he was picked up by U.S. forces during an offensive operation against a camp believed to be an Al-Qaeda stronghold in Afghanistan.

In this ten-minute clip, you see the kid being interrogated at Guantanamo Bay about a year after his initial arrest.

The video shows Omar Khadr sobbing, repeatedly crying out, "Help me."

At one point, Omar pulls off his shirt to show agents from the Canadian security agency (CSI) the injuries on his back and stomach that he sustained in Afghanistan.

"Look, I'm no doctor, but I think you're getting decent medical care here," one of the interrogators snaps back at him.

"No, no I'm not. You aren't even here... I've lost my eyes, I've lost a foot. Everything!" Omar Khadr tells the interrogator through his tears, trying to convey his absolute psychological breakdown.

"No, you still have your eyes, and your feet are still attached to your legs," the interrogator replies.

According to the documentation detailing Omar Khadr's interrogation, there are accounts of him being tortured while held in a U.S. military camp at the Bamiyan airbase in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the White House continues to insist that everyone held at Guantanamo Bay is treated in a "humane manner."

The U.S. government maintains that they need flexibility, arguing that those suspected of terrorism can't simply be treated like your run-of-the-mill criminals.

Omar Khadr's lawyer, Denis Edney, mentioned that he hopes this video will spark a massive public outcry in Canada.

"I really hope Canadians see the heartless and shameful way this Canadian boy, Omar Khadr, is being treated."

Omar Khadr, who is now 21, is still stuck in detention at Guantanamo Bay.

You can check out the video via the link above.

What a total piece of work. I can't believe the way that kid talks back to people older than him—it’s honestly pathetic. Just completely lacks any sense of decency.

People will throw money at anything if it means they get to protect their precious "democracy," "their way of life," or the "American dream." It’s all just nonsense peddled by a nation built on occupation and a messy blend of everything under the sun. At the end of the day, there's no real religion, culture, shared identity, or tradition holding them together—it's just cash, pure and simple.

So, you’ve got this kid with a Canadian passport heading over to Afghanistan and dropping bombs on legitimate UN forces—which, in this case, means our own US Marines.
Honestly, they probably should have just given him a stern talking-to, handed him a lollipop, and sent him packing home so he could be back at it dropping bombs again tomorrow!!
Just take a look at his father's and brother's history for granted. All while their mother is sitting pretty back in Canada enjoying life!
If it were up to me, I’d toss the whole lot of them into an Afghan or Pakistani prison just to show them what real torture actually looks like!

Where exactly is the beauty in all this torture, if I may ask?

Man, what can I even say about Omar Khadr? Here’s the real deal:

1. The title of this thread is totally misleading. If you actually watch the footage, those aren't Americans doing the interrogating—it’s the Canadian intelligence agencies.

2. Sure, Omar Khadr was just a kid when he got caught, but that doesn't change the fact that he was a terrorist who killed NATO soldiers.

3. This whole topic feels pretty loaded, especially since it’s paired with a link to some crackpot extremist website.

And here's the kicker: if you check the link below, there's a documentary all about the "innocent" kid Omar Khadr. You'll find it under the Videos section on the left side of the Photos(where Omar Khadr is). In that doc, you see footage of Omar Khadr playing around with bomb detonators while his older terrorist buddy assembles a bomb. You also see clips of the "innocent" Omar Khadr planting mines meant for NATO troops, all while grinning at the camera.

Bottom line: Omar Khadr isn't some innocent child. He was a terrorist—granted, a minor at the time of his arrest—but he was a minor who killed a NATO soldier and a minor who built bombs and planted mines.

And let's not forget that little 11-year-old kid who was out there "decapitating people."

I’d toss you straight into Guantanamo Bay... but people like you are exactly what guys like George W. Bush, Ivo Sanders, and those corporate tycoons and mobsters need. You people are the reason the world is going to hell...☕ (And here comes Bush claiming that now that we're in NATO, we can expect some massive economic boom similar to Jamaica or Turkey...

Has anything actually been proven against him? Other than a confession that was almost certainly beaten out of him... To hell with you and the USA...

A video showing the interrogation of a prisoner at the notorious Guantanamo Bay detention camp has been released for the first time, following a ruling by the Canadian Supreme Court. The footage features Canadian citizen Omar Khadr, who was interrogated and detained back in 2003 regarding the alleged killing of an American soldier in Afghanistan. At the time, Khadr was only 16 years old, and today he continues to fight these charges in Canada. In the video, Khadr appears visibly shaken, his face buried in his hands as you can hear him mutter, "Help me." He complains about being tortured, shows off his injuries, and eventually concludes that nobody gives a damn.

Khadr stands out as the only guy held at Guantanamo Bay who actually went before a judge without boycotting the whole military tribunal process. Back in February 2008, the Pentagon let slip some documents by mistake, and they showed that even though Khadr was right there in the middle of the firefight, there wasn't any actual proof he was the one who tossed the grenade. To make matters worse, military officials had initially reported that one of the other surviving militants had thrown it right before he was killed.
According to Wikipedia...

It’s perfectly acceptable—provided it's done in the name of American democracy. I guess the US military can commit all sorts of atrocities as long as they claim it's for democracy, whereas anyone else doing the exact same thing would just be labeled a criminal.

I’m not exactly a huge fan of Americans, but I like this kid Omar Khadr even less. If he felt "manly" enough to head off to Afghanistan as a minor and start planting explosives, then he should be manly enough to endure this "torture." He ended up crying like a total coward.

He could have stayed put in Canada and finished his education, but instead, he chose this path—so he gets exactly what's coming to him.

You reap what you sow. ☕

What an absolute jerk. His father was a humanitarian working in Afghan refugee camps helping disabled children, yet the Americans accused him of "aiding terrorists," leading to months of imprisonment before he was released due to lack of evidence. The entire family lived in Afghanistan, including his mother.
As for this supposed "bombing of the Marines," that was never proven, yet the boy remains detained to this day, treated even worse than Palestinians under a Zionist boot.

Let me repeat; he went to Afghanistan with his family to help with humanitarian work, and those claims about planting bombs were never actually proven.

How can you be such a hypocrite and try to justify that disgusting violence against a child?!

First of all—there is absolutely NO PROOF that he was throwing bombs...
Secondly, those recordings you're talking about simply don't exist...
Thirdly—even if he actually did drop those bombs, he was targeting a SOLDIER, so there is absolutely no way he can be labeled a "terrorist"...

Get a grip on what actually defines terrorism... The killing of civilians...And not killing American soldiers! ☕

Look, just because Islamic fanatics use children to further their agenda doesn't mean the "champions of democracy" get a free pass to act like savages—because then they're no better than the people using that child as a tool to "sensitize" the public.
Even so, I guess I still don't see planting mines for American soldiers to step on as anything other than terrorism.
