Just watched this and all I can say is—wow. It’s pretty rare for me to be genuinely blown away by a movie lately, but this one really hit the mark. No hesitation from me on giving it a 10/10. I’m officially adding it to my Billboard Top 10 of the year—which isn't saying much since my standards for making a list like this have gotten way higher lately.

Hands down one of the weirdest movies I've sat through in years.
And honestly? It’s surprisingly good.

It’s basically what I imagine Gordon Ramsay would look like if he completely lost his mind. 🤣

I'm not feeling it; it was honestly pretty disappointing...

I actually liked it. 7.5/10. A total breath of fresh air compared to the usual trash we get.

It's pretty obvious Anya is basically the muse for A24. 😁

(The cringiest line in the whole movie)

The film is pretty entertaining. To be honest, once the action kicks in, I find myself just watching to see how the director and writers will untangle the plot. They pulled it off decently enough. It could have been better, but it was solid.

It's almost like there's something significant at stake here. You've got fanatic chefs on an island, backed by a private army—maybe even nuclear weapons...

Maybe the cringiest thing ever, but honestly? It's true.

This whole thing is a total abortion of what Squid Game was supposed to be. Like, sure, I feel for those desperate people in the show, but watching this? I don't feel a damn thing.
And that cheeseburger at the end? Honestly made me want to gag. It was just pointless. If you aren't washing it down with a Coke 🙂
The only reason I even stuck it out until the credits rolled was because of Ralph

So I was grabbing a meal at Checkers and a Coke the other night, and while I was just sitting there enjoying my food, I started thinking about 😁

but if we're being real, I still think Mia Goth is the one who truly deserves that title.

cowboy said:You could pretty much say she made it to movie star status 👍

But honestly, did she?

Personally, I really wish she had been cast as Irulan in Dune instead of that girl from Black Widow.

If she’s actually a star? Nah. That whole concept doesn't even exist anymore.

You've got a few legends left from the old school, but the new crowd just rotates out every couple of years.

I mean, look, the role totally fits her vibe. But honestly? It’s just all about her, her, her, and her... plus that super cheesy energy she brings.

but see, that’s kind of the charm, isn't it? why do we always need some character to be "relatable" or someone to feel bad for? there's something almost poetic about everyone getting wrecked because they're all terrible people (well, by certain standards, obviously—not everyone's gonna see them that way) 😁

I don't know, the whole thing with Leguizam and that agent—whatever her deal is—hardly feels like it earns them a death scene.
So, the agent deserves to die just because Brown didn't pay off her student loans? Give me a break. Maybe the woman actually earned a scholarship through pure talent 🤦

It’s honestly such a bummer that Radcliffe didn't step in to take over for Leguizam.
The internet would have absolutely lost its mind with all the memes 😬

Look, we don't really know the full story with her situation—it's all a bit murky, right? But honestly, I'm not doubting Ralph for a second; he definitely did his homework and made sure everything was handled. Justice finally caught up with them. ☕

That's his agent? Honestly, I thought she was just some young gold digger. I don't know—personally, I felt he deserved it for being so arrogant, and she deserved it for being greedy (assuming she was a sponsor, which is how I first took it).

I suppose none of the guests committed a sin significant enough to warrant their deaths, though perhaps Tyler might be an exception. Aside from that, I find the film to be quite eccentric.

this movie is straight-up twisted and dangerous. I honestly don't get how they even got this past the MPAA.
spoiler alert!
I can't decide what's more brain-dead: the actual motive behind why this psycho slaughtered those people (and himself), or the whole weird deal with who he decided to let live and how he went about it 🤷

The movie started out strong—really decent, actually—but then it just completely fell off a cliff toward the end. Such a letdown. It ended up being totally predictable and felt pretty shallow overall.

So, I finally sat down to watch that movie, and honestly? I wasn't feeling it at all. I mean, seriously, that actress could probably land a role playing a hammerhead shark in a sci-fi flick—her eyes are just spaced so far apart. Total waste of time, if you ask me...

She's one of the better actresses working in America right now.

It was alright. A bit heavy on the satire for my taste, though. Still, a solid way to kill a couple of hours if you're bored.

For real. Honestly, she’d probably nail a role playing some weird alien from outer space instead.☕
