Patrick Martin said:For real. Honestly, she’d probably nail a role playing some weird alien from outer space instead.☕

Plus, she’d be a perfect pick for the sloth in a live-action version of Ice Age.🤣🤣👍

Just finished watching it. Man, what a genius piece of filmmaking. It honestly rivals Triangle of Sadness for me.

Anna is absolutely stunning 😍
She’s definitely climbing the ranks to become my favorite actress.

And Ralph? He absolutely crushed that role. His character is just top-tier. Honestly, I’m right there with the consensus—every single one of those women he took out totally deserved that ending.

Though, I don't really buy the idea that the cheeseburger is why he spared Margot. I think he would’ve let her live regardless because she isn't like the rest of them. In a way, they’re actually pretty similar. They both have those artistic souls where they just give everything and get nothing back in return. He saw that in her immediately, and that's why he let her go.

Did they actually commit any crime that would warrant the death penalty under American law?

Those arrogant rich folks who think their bank accounts make them better than everyone else? Honestly, from where I'm sitting, they deserve the death penalty just for that attitude alone 😁
But hey, if we’re actually gonna talk about real crimes... you know that old guy whose finger got sliced off? He's clearly a predator—an absolute creep who's obsessed with his own daughter. He definitely earned what he got.

- So, where did you go to college?
- Brown.
- And the student loans?
- Nope.
- Oh my god... I'm so sorry. You're actually dying.

🤣

It’s just as I previously stated, I suppose none of them truly deserved to die, with the sole exception of Tyler. The man knew exactly what those guests were walking into, yet he failed to warn a single soul, which makes him practically an accomplice to the whole crime. Though, if I'm being honest, he didn't seem to have all his wits about him.

Nothing much to say, really. Just sitting here with a solid 6/10 vibe going on.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Ralph Fiennes has finally snapped and decided to just start murdering everyone he can't stand. He likes to mess with them first, though. A little psychological warfare before the end. 🤷
I don't know how much sense it makes to get all worked up about "poetic justice" or whatever, when you completely miss the point. He isn't killing them because they're rich; he's doing it because every single one of these characters is trying to milk Ralph's talent for everything it's worth. In his eyes, he's just making them stop exploiting him. And let's be real—the guy is loaded himself. He’s got a private island and an army of sycophants who basically act like lapdogs at his every command.

Watched Schindler's List yesterday and realized Ralph Fiennes played the main psychopath there too—that brutal camp commander. You can draw some pretty wild parallels between the two characters. Like, when Taylor asked him to make her a burger, he just sucked it up and did it, only to end up burning all his guests later. It's similar to how Liam Neeson tries to explain to Ralph that real power isn't about killing, but about showing mercy—something Ralph actually attempts to do for a second before sliding right back into his old habits of killing Jews.

This movie is absolute genius. Honestly, I think it’s even better than the excellent Triangle of Sadness, which covered similar ground. And Ralph? He crushed it, as per usual. ☕

Elizabeth Sanchez2 said:One of the best movies of 2022—and let’s be honest, it was a massive year for cinema. It’s that rare kind of film that works as both a sharp social critique and a total creative playground for the director. Definitely one for the history books. I'm not sure if it's officially in the running for an Oscar yet, but I'm rooting for it to take home the win.

Spot on. Couldn't have said it better myself.

btw, Ralph Fiennes is a straight-up genius. He always has been, and he always will be.

I honestly feel like whenever people start ranking the best actors from the UK or globally, he somehow gets overlooked way more than he deserves.

The fact that his role in Schindler's List only even snagged an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actor is one of the biggest robberies in Hollywood history.

And don't even get me started on all his other legendary performances.
