I was wondering if anyone might happen to know what the daily cash withdrawal limit is when using Chase ATMs?

$1667 That would be your standard daily limit for any ATM...

Pretty sure it depends on what kind of card you're using—not really the ATM itself...

The ATM withdrawal limit is $1667 and it’s a completely different beast than your card limit. If your card limit is lower, sure, you're going to walk away with less cash, just like how you can't pull out $5,000 if your checking account balance is sitting at a measly couple hundred bucks

Wrong. It absolutely has everything to do with the card limit. Mine is $2000 and I can pull $2000 all at once without any issues.

Incorrect. The limit is $1667 regardless of the card used.

Then how did I pull out $2000 all at once from a Chase ATM just a few months ago? So clearly the limit isn't $1667... 😕

Called the JPMorgan Chase customer service line around 1 PM to ask if that $1667 limit was tied to the cards or the ATM itself.
The rep told me it's linked to the card—the ATM doesn't have a flat $1667 limit, it just depends on whatever card you're using to pull cash.
So, I was right all along... 😁

I've heard rumors about ATMs "swallowing" cards, but can they actually just snatch your cash too?

Anyway, let's walk through this..
Last night, I stopped by a Zabina ATM here in town, thinking I'd just drop off $0.67 into my checking account..
So, I start the deposit, the slot opens up, and I slide the cash in.. The machine starts counting, then suddenly the tray pops back open with $333 inside, and all the bills were all crumpled at the edges..
That little light above the slot—usually a yellowish-green color—was glowing red instead. I figured maybe it just took a partial deposit, so I thought I'd check my balance first.. No luck. No receipt, nothing..
I hung around for maybe half an hour, just waiting.. Nothing happened..
Went back today to see if those $333 had actually hit my account, but there's no sign of them..
Now I'm stuck waiting until Monday because over the weekend, their phone lines are basically just automated recordings.. 🙄
Anyone else dealt with this crap, or got any advice?

What a way to end the week. First the ATM "robs" me, and now Dude gets injured 🙂

What kind of card are you even using to have a limit of $2000?

You head into a ZABU branch on Monday, and they’ll probably have you fill out some formal dispute form where you explain the whole mess and exactly what went down. Then, you just wait while they audit the ATM's records. If they confirm there was an error, they should credit the money back to your account and let you know. I mean, that's how it's supposed to work at any US bank, but still... Just try to be patient, because honestly, screaming and throwing a fit at them isn't going to get you much anywhere. 😉

From what I understand... those daily ATM withdrawal limits are entirely dependent on which specific card you’re holding and which bank issued it...

So, let's get specific here => give me the exact card type and the specific bank involved.

silentowl7, for heaven's sake!
Question for you and everyone else here: if I put something like $667 on my Amex Gold, 😁 what's the damage—meaning, what kind of fee am I looking at?

Also, if I pull $667 using my Blue card this month—say, $20—and the statement doesn't even close until the 8th of next month, how much is the fee, and does interest start ticking from the second I grab the cash from the ATM?

Even though I’ve got a mountain of Amex cards sitting in my drawer, I've never actually done this, so I have zero clue how it works.🤷

TXNS 😉!

Hey wanderingharbor61—just for you... 😍
If you raise it... $667 That "pleasure" on your Amex... it's gonna cost you... $30It’s basically a flat 4.5% fee on whatever you pull out—doesn't matter when you do it or what day it is... just a fixed amount, every single time.
Same amount—basically... $30 You'll end up paying for the Blue card too—as far as I can tell—since it works on the exact same revolving principle as that green one I've got. Cash advances aren't tied to the revolving credit line... so whatever cash you pull out hits your bill next month, on top of your regular revolving payment...

Ready when you are... 👍

Hey there!

🤷

So, I don't know... and honestly, I really should know 😢

If I go to a JPMorgan Chase ATM using my own debit card (just a regular Maestro), am I gonna get hit with a fee?
