This whole "stay positive" mantra actually leaves me feeling more depressed, if you ask my boyfriend πŸ˜‚ because these non-traditional perspectives πŸ™‚

For me, music has been an absolute game-changer when it comes to self-worth πŸ™‚. There is something about a melody that just elevates you to a higher plane of existence 😁. It makes all my trivial little problems feel insignificant, and honestly, it’s opened my eyes to how much breathtaking beauty exists in this world and within myself 😍. But lately, I can barely find the mental headspace to focus on even the things I actually want to think about. It reminds me of that one lyric, "there's always someone singing my life back to me" πŸ˜‰

Then again, maybe it's just all in my head πŸ™‚

I get it.
..I guess maybe you're just forcing this guilt on yourself for reasons you don't even understand, and it's eating at you...
but you gotta realize everyone messes up, and those people judging youβ€”not just you, but everyone in generalβ€”are just a bunch of losers and insecure wrecks... so just love yourself and step on them whenever they try to push your buttons.. or better yet.. just ignore them... roll your eyes, sigh, and walk away.. just like I do.. haha..... πŸ™‚

trust me... whoever's actually gonna love you will do it regardless of anything..
and that's what real acceptance is... accepting someone despite their flaws because, seriously.. who's perfect???...
and the ones who won't..
wait.. do you even actually need them?

hello.... do you have any idea how many people are out there?...

Well, now I know there's at least one person out there like that.πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

here's what she wroteπŸ™‚:
it's totally true, and I finally realized that the whole point is just staying positive! But what's the catch? Every time I actually manage to think positively, those nasty negative thoughts about myself come rushing back, and I just take it as a total defeat... everything just falls apart. It's because I don't truly believe in myself or think that I can actually be okay and stay upbeat. It's awful! It feels like this endless daily battle against my own mind, and honestly, it’s getting pretty exhausting. If only there was some kind of guarantee that I could eventually win and finally beat that negativity once and for allπŸ™‚
well, now I'm starting to sound a bit like I'm in 'Star Wars'...😁
I have just one little question for youβ€”do you find yourself overanalyzing everything after every single conversation? Like, do you start spiraling, wondering if you left a bad impression or if you sounded totally foolish or embarrassed yourself? Please, tell me if you do!😍

I'm 21β€”yeah, I know, I'm youngβ€”but I've always been mature. Maybe too much, actually. I overanalyze everything, constantly digging for depth, and because I can't even wrap my head around accepting myself as I am, well, I obviously can't expect anyone else to do it.
Everything feels worse lately, and honestly? I'm just miserable being stuck with myself.

It sounds like a total clichΓ©, but I truly believe time is the ultimate healer, if you look at it from a constructive angle.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘β˜•

I found a lot of solace in a book called *Conversations with a Mirror* by M. Rijavec and D. Miljkovic. It can be a bit tricky to track down unless you grab a copy from Barnes & Noble, though you might have some luck finding it at your local public library. I truly recommend it to anyone who’s been feeling a bit lost within their own head lately.

Now, look, I usually steer clear of the whole "self-help" genreβ€”mostly because most of those books just repackage the same old nonsense in slightly different fontsβ€”but this one is actually quite engaging. You don't even have to read it cover to cover; it's filled with these little vignettes and life snippets that make it easy to pick up and put down.

If I had to pinpoint the biggest takeaway, it would be the idea of practicing positive self-talk. I know, I know, it sounds like a total clichΓ©, but it genuinely makes a difference. It isn't nearly as easy as people make it out to be; learning how to stop reflexively blaming yourself for every little hiccup is a massive hurdle.
