I’m having such a hard time drifting off lately. Honestly, if I don't take my Ambien, there's zero chance I'm getting any sleep at all—I think I’ve officially spiraled into an addiction. Is it even safe to keep using this stuff with Sanval
?

Sanval is enough to lull you right to sleep

Not for me. I need something to actually take the edge off, otherwise, sleep just isn't happening 😢
I usually take some Melatonin and Sanval, though I don't bother with the Sanval every single night.

And honestly, I’ve been knocking back Praxiten for a while now, so we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out

I usually take two Normabels and then hit a Sanval ten minutes later before heading to bed. Lately, it’s actually been working 🙂 Does anyone know if Praxiten is anything like Normabel?

Do you guys seriously have to be on those pills?
I was taking some kind of beta-blocker for about ten days—not because I was having a mental breakdown or anything, but I had surgery and my surgeon prescribed it just to stabilize my heart rate and keep my stress levels down.
Honestly, I’m not a fan of the whole thing.
Back when I was going through a massive life crisis, a psychiatrist actually put me on some heavy-duty anxiety meds. I ended up not taking them, though, because I stumbled upon this study by a group of supposedly independent doctors... basically, they argued that these drugs permanently mess with your brain chemistry. My doctor actually agreed with that take, so I passed on them.
But from what I understand, those things don't even kick in for at least ten days, and they work totally differently than the stuff I took for my heart.

I’ve heard that exact same thing before.

Personally, I just stick to a cup of plain chamomile tea with absolutely nothing added to it, and honestly, it knocks me out faster than anything else!
It actually helps me sleep way better than any of those pills I've ever experimented with.

You should really give it a shot, just pure chamomile...

I usually just stick to chamomile tea when my stomach is acting up😉.
If I actually want to get some sleep, though, I need a pill.
And let's be clear: these aren't candy. You don't take them because you're having fun; you take them because you have to.

I guess I wonder how much rum you pour into that chamomile? For me, a fifty-fifty split works pretty well, and then I can drift off nicely after taking something like 10mg Ambien or maybe some Klonopin 10mg.

As for Xanax, it's almost like drinking plain water for me—I barely even feel it.

Honestly, same here. Paxil feels like nothing to me, just straight water lol

Look, Paxil is primarily an anxiolytic. Its main job is to calm you down, which isn't always the same thing as knocking you out.
Ambien is a sedative-hypnotic specifically meant for insomnia. It might actually make more sense to introduce the Ambien first, then gradually taper off the Paxil (at least the dose you take before bed—I'm not sure if you're taking it during the day too).

It's fine!

That combination is perfectly safe.

But I guess, is it really that simple? Look, I don't want to sound condescending or anything, I really don't, but I just don't quite get it—aside from, obviously, heavy-duty stuff like antipsychotics for schizophrenia or severe psychosis where there's absolutely no other choice.
But for people who are right on the edge or just slightly under, aren't they basically just doing themselves long-term damage by relying on meds?

But what about the people living right on the edge or even below the line? Aren't they just setting themselves up for long-term disaster?

Look, honey, those folks living on the edge aren't exactly thinking about the long game. For them, it’s just about making it through the night.

Mind if I jump in here? I'm a chronic insomniac.
I stopped by a local health food store today to see if they had any herbal teas that might help knock me out alongside my xanax. Honestly, I don't even feel the xanax anymore—I've been taking it for four years now—so I'll probably be looking for a different sedative soon anyway. I thought about trying Paxil, but from what I’ve read in the discussions here, it doesn't seem like the best move, so I'll pass on that for now.
Anyway, does anyone know of a solid sleep tea that plays nice with anxiolytics and antidepressants? The woman at the pharmacy wasn't much help and didn't give me anything concrete to work with. Chamomile does absolutely nothing for me. If anyone has a recommendation, I’d really appreciate it.
You can take Sanval along with xanax; that's what I did for a while 😉

Man, this stuff just isn't doing anything for me 😢
I can't even get a buzz from my 1mg xanax

I’ve built up a serious tolerance to Praxiten (honestly, it only really hits if I smear the whole damn pill) and Catapresan and Normabel... I live in a neighborhood here in the States where you can just pick those things up without a prescription.

xanax 1 mg prescription rules..
Honestly, Sanval just leaves me feeling totally restless at night—and then I'm stuck with all this paranoia and depression during the day. Not my favorite...
Plus, it’s literally listed right there in the side effects..
Tinnitus and xanax 0.5-1 mg..🙂

Here’s the deal with Ambien—for me, the hallucinations would start kicking in pretty much right after I took it, and then by the next day, I'd be dealing with this intense tension and anxiety.
xanax 👍

Directly from the instruction manual:

"Sanval may exacerbate certain health issues. If you have a history of depression, please consult your doctor before starting Sanval.
Due to the risk of suicidal ideation, medical professionals and/or family members should closely monitor patients struggling with depression."

Watch out if you're dealing with depression!
