Screen Resolution problem and Blurry text

Hey, I could really use some help here.

I just got my computer back from the repair shop after they swapped out the motherboard. They reinstalled Windows 10 and all my old software, and the machine runs fine, but there's a major Screen Resolution problem. It won't match my monitor at all.

My monitor is supposed to be 1920 x 1080, but the closest option I can find in the settings is 1400 x 1050.
Everything looks stretched out on the screen, and the text is super Blurry.

Look, I’m definitely not a tech genius, but I spent way too many hours yesterday and today Googling stuff and trying random fixes.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far: -Checking for any new Windows updates,
-Updating drivers (everything says it's up to date), and even hunting for older versions, but nothing worked.
-Messing around with different resolutions and scaling options.
-Manually tweaking the physical monitor settings.
-I toggled the setting "Let Windows try to fix apps so they are not blurry," but that did nothing.
-Running driver checkers like Driver Easy—everything came back clean.
-Trying to grab alternative drivers from the Dell site, but it won't let me install them because it claims they aren't compatible with the monitor.

Just for context, the monitor is a Dell SE2717H / HX computer.
The PC doesn't have a dedicated graphics card, and I honestly never had these issues before; I've owned this thing for years.

Could this be related to the new motherboard? Or maybe the Windows 10 reinstall? Any idea how I can actually fix this?

Wait, guys—it looks like they haven't installed the graphics card drivers yet. Could you let me know which motherboard was actually installed in there? I'll need the manufacturer and the specific model. But more importantly—are you plugging into the integrated graphics on the motherboard, or do you have a dedicated graphics card in the computer? If you're not quite sure what I mean—no worries at all—just snap a photo of the back of the case for me. Once I see where everything is plugged in, I can tell you exactly how you're connected. 😁

No dedicated card here, it's just the integrated one on the board. That's what you mean, right? 🤷
The motherboard is an ASRock AM3+ N68-GS4 USB 3.0 (that's what my receipt shows, nothing else was listed).

Unfortunately, that motherboard doesn't "officially" support Windows 10—I checked, and there aren't any specific drivers available for it. That said, Windows 10 should be smart enough to detect everything and set your resolution to 1920x1080 on its own. If it doesn't, you can just right-click anywhere on your desktop, head over to Display Settings, and look for the Resolution option. Click that, and it should show you a list of available resolutions... see if 1920x1080 is sitting in there somewhere?

Give this a shot here to grab that VGA driver.

Oh man, thanks so much, that actually fixed it! The resolution is fine now and the picture looks great. Chrome still has some Blurry text, but I guess I can live with that for now.
The only thing is, it feels like there are these super faint, almost invisible "waves" moving across the screen. I don't know how else to describe it or show it, they just pop in and out sometimes 🤔

Anyway, this was exactly what I needed, so thanks a ton 🙏🙏

edit: reinstalled Chrome and now it's crystal clear 🙂
