slydriver17 said:Fine, that is essentially the core issue here. But I have zero interest in ideological posturing. Truly experiencing things is like constantly poking at the surface of the water (even if there is a reason for doing so😕 ), yet the water simply levels itself out again. It’s like someone punching me in the face and then complaining about the bruise. It is a raw fact. Our entire visible existence is plastered over with advertisements. When you peel them off, you just discover the layer they were stuck to. And that layer is merely a foundation for something else... and all this supposed wisdom😬
As a historical figure who shaped an entire era, Jesus, or rather Christ later on, represented the necessary balance required by the religious communities of that time. To a man who has achieved true unity, it does not matter how the masses reflect upon him. He might, perhaps, hold a flicker of hope regarding how many souls he might lead toward the path.

Someone has done a terrible disservice to my friend by framing it that way;
Just imagine hearing this sentence: "Your father was merely a balance that had to occur so the circumstances of your birth could be realized."
I truly hope your father isn't lurking on these forums!
Because if he were—his heart would simply shatter from the grief.
That’s precisely the point: if you view your own father as nothing more than a "balance," what kind of heart are you actually operating with?

Do you know why people take their own lives? It’s because they feel worthless; they feel like they are just some cosmic "balance" within the vast machinery of the world around them.
This is where you and I differ. I understand that feeling, whereas you clearly do not.

🙄
Of course there was a balance. I wouldn't even be present in this digital madness if my parents hadn't reached some sort of agreement, would I?🤣
What is wrong with the word "balance"? You're clearly trying to attach some negative connotation to it, like talking about the balance of supply and demand.
You expect far too much from others. You've positioned yourself as some sort of small-town sage, lecturing people and forcing them into these literary outbursts while simultaneously playing judge over what is "good" and what isn't—deciding what's too sweet and what's actually cool.😎 😬
As for your own displays of warmth... well, they're somewhat mediocre at best (😬 , I'm in a decent mood today) but hey, you're making an effort, so I suppose I'll allow it.😬
My father is still using a Pentium 166MHz machine. He needs it for some basic insurance stuff, along with a 36k modem. Where exactly is he going to go to watch how I browse the web? He has much more important things to worry about.
And regarding that first "Father" figure you mentioned... everything looks the same to him anyway.😍

What can I even say to you? You are perceiving this concept of balance through a negative lens. Once you realize that life itself is nothing but the relationship between an inhale and an exhale, you begin to actually appreciate that... balance.😬
"Balance" is just a word. Whether you are the President of the United States or a sanitation worker in the same country, everyone is interconnected. Those at the top rely on those at the bottom, and how much a leader understands that dependency will determine how good a ruler they become. But, given how much of a mess the world is right now, at least we'll have some spectacular fireworks to watch while it all goes down.😬
People kill just to feel alive. When you crush someone else, you feel stronger (and I am referring to certain types of people here; let’s not overgeneralize, and certainly not myself.😬 Personally, I find it shameful to hurt anyone😳). They do it because it is the only way they can force a reaction out of someone else. In that way, people grant them a sense of purpose simply by fearing them. That fear seeks to expand, and so on and so forth. If you somehow learn how to love throughout your life, you will become a much more tranquil person. I am speaking about an internal state of being. Because that is the only way you can truly hear what your heart is demanding.😍

I can't believe I'm even sitting here typing this out, but honestly, someone has to say it... because apparently, nobody else in this entire country has the guts to call out this absolute nonsense when they see it happening right in front of their faces! It’s like we’re all just collectively deciding to ignore common sense and pretend everything is perfectly fine while the whole system just grinds to a halt... it’s infuriating, really, if you actually take a second to think about it instead of just blindly following whatever latest trend is being shoved down our throats by people who wouldn't know hard work if it hit them in the face! And don't even get me started on what slydriver17 was saying earlier, because that was just a complete waste of breath and frankly, a little insulting to anyone with half a brain cell left...
Charles White11 said:But seriously, what makes you so sure there’s nothing left to be found?

PS. I'm not being sarcastic.

What exactly are you looking for from a SEARCHER... just say it already! 😁

Whenever I am overwhelmed by emotion—when those intense ganuće sweep through me—I don't feel empty. It’s actually quite the opposite; I feel completely full. That sense of emptiness only exists before and after the wave hits. I find it difficult to accept the notion that there is nothing left to find.
Is it perhaps just a poor heart with nothing left to fill?

Look, I don't feel empty just because I've had a huge Thanksgiving dinner, haha... but then again, we both know that anything that gets filled up eventually has to be emptied out too. When it comes to feelings, it's no different, but are you even realizing how fleeting they actually are? Like, how they constantly shift? Everything we're talking about here—or rather, what we're pointing toward—is something that emotions can't even touch, they don't even graze it...

So first things first, you need to ask yourself one simple question: WHO AM I??? Once you do that, then maybe you'll see what's actually waiting for you! 😁

That emptiness isn't where inspiration lives; there's no creative spark in it.

Charles White11 said:I'm not trying to convince you of anything, my friend; we are simply sharing our own lived truths. The heart is the only subject that matters here.

Here is how those lines resonated with me personally:

It is only when we suffer an irreversible loss that we truly grasp the value of everything we foolishly took for granted. We often treat our loved ones this way, right up until the moment they are gone forever, only to realize it's far too late. We would give anything in the world for just five trivial minutes to tell them how much they meant to us—just five minutes stolen from the countless years we actually had the chance.
Most of our lives are spent drifting through trivialities and being consumed by ourselves.

At its core, this isn't even really about love.

It’s just habit: when your favorite coffee mug breaks, you feel sad—it's the exact same thing with this.
When you lose someone close, you lose a massive chunk of your own life... it’s like breaking a mug, just on a much more devastating scale...
Taking things for granted is just the status quo. And let's be real: the status quo makes people happy... change bothers them. Specifically, they hate change when it means losing something. But every loss is also a gain.

From every disappearance, a birth follows 😍 someone once said
life is constant change... that’s just the way it works...

Happiness follows sadness, and sadness follows happiness...

The kind of mother I’m talking about would never refer to her own child as some "little animal."
Anyone who has ever felt that profound, soul-stirring connection knows exactly what I mean.

And one more thing: there is no such thing as love born from fear.

Love implies a fear of "loss." 😉

When it comes to people you don't care about, you don't give a damn if you lose them.

Yeah... it isn't love because of fear, it's fear because of love.

But loving something just because it might be lost? That's nothing but surface-level stuff compared to true love.

If you love someone in a way where you don't feel regret when they're gone, then *that* is real love. 😉 Because what you're losing is your own connection, not the person themselves. 😉 😉

This might sound a bit weird—but honestly, grieving someone is really just grieving yourself.

My dear old cat;
God help whoever ends up under your wing!
God help the child who might eventually depend on you, the elderly parent who has to lean on you in their twilight years, or even the neighbor in crisis living right across the street—when, in their darkest moments, instead of finding support, they get swept away by your cold, relentless "logic."

What was that phrase again? Let me think... ah, yes: "Giving to me and looking after me is all nonsense; I'm at my happiest when I'm left alone."

Sacrificing oneself for others without a second thought,

"...there are moments when I am overcome by something so deeply ganuće that tears start streaming down my face for absolutely no reason at all. If you defend that stance—then we are on exactly the same wavelength. Personally, I equate that feeling with the Heart; when it hits me, I’d practically hand over my own clothes to a random passerby on the street just because."

Charles White11 said:My old friend,
you really 🙂 hit home with this one!
I spent seven years traveling through all of Southeast Asia; I crossed India from one end to the other, all the way up to the Himalayas. There isn't a thing I haven't seen or a place I haven't been. I even picked up a language along the way.
Do you know what the most interesting part of the whole story is?
Everything was right under my nose the whole time, yet I didn't see it back then. I wasted so much time wandering through Asia searching for the heart, only to finally find it right here.
There is nothing quite like the true simplicity of our Franciscan brothers or the wisdom found among you Canadian folks.
A few months ago, I was officially in Boston, and I asked a local Bostonian friend to take me over to the Bey's Mosque—I wanted to pick up a CD of Islamic hymns, just to nourish the soul.
I listen to that one, "I stood by the Kaaba," and I just can't stop listening; it moves me to tears.🙂
Bless you,
stay well.

A true seeker doesn't go overboard when they tell you that you're a seeker too!
It’s not just something you think about—it’s something you feel in your soul. It's like a lost traveler finally finding the path home.

As Rumi once said:

Love is understood through the heart's own sighs.
But this isn't an illness, not like any physical ailment you'd find at a hospital.
The root of this "ache" of love is fundamentally different from any other kind of suffering.
Love is actually the instrument used to unlock the Divine Comedy.
Whether it comes from one side or the other, love shows us exactly where we came from and exactly where we are headed.

So, there you have it.
Just look at that. Your old man definitely knows his stuff! 🙂 😍

Don't go overboard... if you think helping people means crying more, you're thinking about giving too much.😉

P.S. You don't have to feel sorry for someone just to help them.😉

Man, I feel that!
But honestly, there's an even more powerful one coming right after!

it's like stepping into lush, green Sufi poetry.
It's a glimpse of the afterlife,
a light so bright it changes everything!

Man, oh man... we could all use a little more of that down here.😢 😢 😢 😢 😢

It is truly miraculous how the ganuće reveals itself so shyly...
Words fail me; the rhymes catch in my throat, and tears fall for no reason at all. How could I ever deserve this?
I am unworthy of such a gentle touch, especially since I neglected my dearest mother while wandering this world—my most precious one, who never asked for anything, yet always nurtured me with her entire being.
Through your rhymes, it feels as though he is telling me he hears me, that he hasn't forgotten me... My dearest!
When I think about how much of the world I have traversed, yet here he is, gentle and smiling, speaking through this banal medium, this ordinary little forum, caught in an indescribable moment that will sustain me for years to come.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my dear brother Asic.
I have some good news of my own, and the ganuće was mentioned too; I feel compelled to share that with you.

The mercy of Kader the merciful, the very essence of humanity.
Thank God the merciful and compassionate for bringing us together here, brother!
Brother, you know exactly what needs to be done!
Don't hesitate for even a second, and don't overthink it!

You mentioned earlier that you didn't know how you earned this. Well, brother, let that be a sign of just how vast the mercy of the Merciful truly is. Every comment we make is secondary to this.

As Mevlan says in his 18th verse:

One cannot know the true state of the soul by looking only at the surface,
so let's end this talk and say peace be upon you!
