Look, if even a tiny group of them actually used their heads—if they could just pause for a second and feel the level of understanding, respect, and the genuine hunger for a deeper, stronger connection that we have right here—they would actually have something to learn. They might finally realize where they're headed.
But nope, not a chance!

hehehehe....it's like that old saying: 'thank God we aren't like those people'...😁

Ugh, just wait until those feelings hit you... you really need to realize you're sitting on a freaking seesaw, swinging back and forth... but when you finally land on that side you never wanted to be on, where you're essentially calling your own kind... just call it a time out. Basically, just stay quiet for a while because, man, it’ll be a massive embarrassment to talk about love when you clearly don't even possess it, hehehe 😁 ... just learn how to be who you actually are so your actions actually match your words... even if you're doing "good" things just out of pure self-interest (which is really just a different way of loving what benefits you), at least you're following your own nature.

And one last question for the road; why bother doing good in the first place? 🙄 😁

Because it’s just what happens when you finally open your heart up.
It isn't about having some "choice" in the sense of... hold on, why should I act this way? That's not it.
Compassion and actually finding joy in the world around you? That stuff just flows.
Look, let me put it this way: that gut instinct to embrace everyone you meet on this weird, mysterious journey of "discovery"—that's the real sign. It means your heart is open and you're heading in the right direction. Everything else is just noise.

By the way; watching these two users interact is actually pretty great. Unfortunately (and I guess that's just how the low-rent side of this world works), there's always someone who can't handle it, someone who eventually comes along and ruins the whole vibe.
God knows why.

Sentimental one-sidedness isn't some movement for "those with open hearts"!

Furthermore; the compassion of "those with open hearts" (you know, those supposedly enlightened beings, purely as a conceptual idea) is actually the realization that nobody needs compassion at all! — well... as for being "wowed," that was already covered by my previous point.

The "right path" is nothing more than an idea! The right path is actually limitation and a lack of freedom.
And as for the "mindless chatter"; that's a perfectly valid and practical tool used to tear down these kinds of half-baked ideas.

If you actually enjoy their poetic nonsense (their little bowl of soup), then fine, whatever... go ahead and indulge while you can... but it won't last long, because as you can see, someone is already back to shitting in the soup again, hehehe...🙄 😁

And who exactly is talking about sentimentality?
What does the Heart have to do with being sentimental?
One might say quite simply: it is a natural state—one that transcends mere sentimentality.
The Gannon that is difficult to speak of—where words fail you in that very moment...
The Gannon that fills you and connects you to everything, my confused friend.

Ashik threw out a few lines that hint at this somewhat (poetry is merely an attempt to portrait the Gannon).

P.S. I'm not being sarcastic; I truly wish you nothing but the best.

So where is this "deep connection" of yours now?
If you were actually who you claim to be—if things were constant instead of this whole cycle of being something and then not being it...
You’re just latching onto certain outward expressions, basically reducing your entire identity to passing emotional impulses and calling them your true nature... look, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, just enjoy it your own way! But don't try to sell it to me as some ultimate, absolute truth...

How is this supposed to connect me to your little "deep feeling"? It’s just another idea built on the assumption that things can be separated or that there's some distinct part of us all standing alone... basically, I have zero interest in these "new" ideas that are actually ancient... so why don't you tell me something original for once, something you haven't already heard from everyone else?! 🙄

You're placing far too much weight on my shoulders.
"...If you truly were who you claim to be—which, let's face it, always is what it is—then you wouldn't..."
Fortunately, my heart is capable of grasping it, if only for a fleeting moment.
Gannon reflects itself through everything and everyone you encounter...
Blessed is the soul who can even catch a mere hint of that.
Those are the moments I live for.
I have nothing "new" to tell you.

Though, perhaps I do;
...you see, for me, every ancient idea or attempt to "portray" or witness what I've described is a source of endless inspiration.
I never tire of reading and contemplating poetry written from the heart.
Even a poem I've read a hundred times over still inspires me in a way that feels entirely fresh and unrepeatable.
Every new one stirs me anew, even if the "stirring" itself is always the same.
Anyone who gifts me such a thing is a brother or sister to me through Gannon.
I honestly pity your indifference toward it.
How painful it must be to abandon your world once you think you've "read" it.

I am not judging your agitation regarding what I am writing.

while there's someone out there willing to carry it, it's definitely going to be too heavy and massive!
the whole point is self-delusion, not trying to control or direct things.
just forget about yourself and suddenly you've got the muscles of Hercules, hahaha😁

and the poet's job is just to sing songs, hahaha....it's only when you try to turn the singing of those little verses into some kind of universal law that you run into problems... some kind of rebellion or whatever.

'indifference' is actually bliss... you just don't realize it yet.

singing songs is really just a specific way of avoiding loneliness and emptiness, which is naturally what you are... but we can talk about that later😁

Songs aren't anything more than the soul singing its heart out. Open up a little; stop clinging to that indifference.
What hurts Gannon the most is how we all recoil from his gentle touch.
It will pay off for you professionally, 100%.
Take my word for it.

What soul? - I'll tell you what, it's just one idea after another!

If you want to talk about profit margins, go bother the salespeople😁

Charles White11 said:It's mine, but whose is it really!
Someone once cried out in their final moments: "Father, Father—why have you forsaken me..."
Him, but who else could it be?
What kind of heart is it that has no one left to love?

While He was still speaking to the crowd, His mother and brothers showed up. They were standing outside, just waiting for a chance to talk to Him. Then someone comes up and tells Him, "Look, your mother and your brothers are outside, looking for you." To the person who told him this, He simply replied, "Who is my mother? And who are my brothers?" Then, pointing toward His disciples, He said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! Truly, anyone who does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, my sister, and my mother."

Peter Flores67 said:There’s this old idea about two wolves fighting inside a person's soul.
One side is pure love and the other is just straight-up hate.

So, which one actually comes out on top?

The one you keep feeding!

That’s a nice sentiment, really, but...
Humans aren't just made of hearts—we're driven by much more complex stuff than that.
How is hate supposed to win?
When it's the heart that actually sustains us in the first place. 🙂 😁 🙂

Where'd you pick up this way of writing? ...honestly, I bet it isn't yours... you don't even know what you're saying or what you wrote... even if your own hand did the typing.

Too clinical. Just memorized stuff... such a waste. You can do better.

Writing like this? You're building a wall against the soul and sealing off the heart... it can be better. It definitely can be better.

THE SONG OF BROTHER SUN

Almighty, all-powerful, and good God,
to You alone belong all thanks, glory, honor, and every blessing.
Only You, the Most High, are worthy,
and no mere mortal is deserving enough to even claim them.
May all of creation, my God, sing Your praises,
including our brother the sun,
for he is the light of day and brings us sight.
He is beautiful, flashing with such immense radiance.
In him, O Most High, Your image is reflected.
Let my God be praised
by brother moon and the sisters of the stars,
to whom You granted their brilliance, beauty, and their place in the heavens.
Let my God be praised,
by brother wind and the air through clear skies and heavy clouds, at all times,
with which You sustain all Your creatures.
Let my God be praised by sister water,
so necessary, so humble, so precious, and so pure.
Let my God be praised by sister fire,
which illuminates the darkness of night,
so lovely and cheerful, yet so steady and strong.
Let my God be praised by our mother Earth,
who nourishes and supports us,
yielding countless fruits,
and a tapestry of colorful flowers and grasses.
Let my God be praised
by those who offer forgiveness out of love for You,
those who endure weakness and suffering.
Blessed are those who persist in peace,
for You, Most High, will crown them.
Let my God be praised by our sister physical death,
from whom no one can escape.
Woe to those who pass away in grievous sin!
Blessed are those who find themselves within Your holy will,
for a second death shall not harm them.
Praise my God and exalt Him;
give thanks and serve Him in your humility!

🤷

Goethe once said, "Whatever you feed, grows."

So, I'm guessing you're trying to say we should be feeding our hearts instead.

"Once you clear away the clutter and make your heart a pure mirror,
you're gonna see scenes from the other side of the land and sea.
It won't just be pictures, though—you'll see Their painter too,
both the essence of spiritual existence and its Weaver."

mistybison said:Spiritual teachings frequently reference the heart, typically viewing it as something that transcends the mind—a source of consciousness, our true essence, and the engine behind everything we do.

Here is what one of our Harmony members shared regarding this topic in a discussion over on the "Religion" board:

How do you define the heart? 🙂

Is it just an anatomical organ with two atria, two ventricles, valves keeping blood from flowing backward, and a network of Purkinje fibers... whatever.

Or maybe it's that "impulse"—that driving force, the most profound and moving thing a human can feel... etc.

Or perhaps it's the total opposition to the head. The heart stands against the brain; it sits above the intellect.

Or simply: the heart is the center of the soul.

Or maybe... ugh, I'm losing steam here. 😉

It's pouring rain out here today.
Actually, it's nice.
A real colorful, classic American autumn morning.
My hair is a complete disaster thanks to the humidity, so I just threw it back in a clip to try and manage the chaos. 🤣

The dog is out in the yard patiently waiting for his morning workout, and it hit me—you and I, Enchik, actually touched on something similar when you visited. 🙂

Then I remembered that old saying: no matter which way you turn, your ass is still behind you. 😁

So I decided to tweak it: no matter which way you turn, your ass is still behind you, and your HEART is right where it belongs. 😍

And then there's that Native American proverb that used to mess with my head for ages 🤷 : the longest journey any person takes in their life is the one between the heart and the head. 😳

And you know what?

In a fit of laughter, I realized I only need to ask one question, because it's also the answer:

what exactly is the heart NOT?!
