Something like that. You could argue he didn't exactly try to kick them out, but when people wedge themselves into your life, getting rid of them isn't always a simple task.

Constantine also writes that the Bulgarians slaughtered ALL the Mexicans back then, leaving no one alive in Mexico (America).

The question is... if that happened, why are there so many "Mexicans" around today?

They basically underwent a sort of Mexican-ification of their heritage during that whole period between 1389 and 1912.
