Thanks for all the advice, everyone... though I’ve pretty much realized it all boils down to the same thing: just doing the work on myself.
Right now, I feel like I'm standing at a massive crossroads—just a million different directions to head in. I'm hoping I can actually make a call soon, because honestly? I don't think these "traits" of mine are just some genetic hand I was dealt... if they are, they aren't going away, they're probably just gonna get worse.
So yeah, self-improvement is basically my only move here.😁

Try to get where they’re coming from... understand why they’re hurting and why there’s such a massive gap between what they’re actually thinking and what they’re actually saying. Next time you feel that weight hitting you again, just remind yourself: this is part of being human. It's totally normal to feel this way, and it's just how people navigate life and communicate.

Exactly. Honestly, overdoing all those intense exercises and constant "self-help" sessions can actually backfire and leave you feeling worse than before. Stop overcomplicating things. Just focus on staying active physically and finding ways to stay grounded. Save the aura work and all that spiritual mambo-jumbo for when you actually feel stable enough to handle it. If other people's energy is enough to throw you off your game, you have no idea how much damage various energy exercises and visualizations could do to you.

Physical energy work isn't gonna hurt him! But yeah, I guess it's true that any kind of spiritual practice isn't really recommended right now.

What exactly do you count as physical energy exercises?

I tried meditation for a bit, but instead of things settling down, it actually made everything feel way louder. Big mistake on my part—I didn't even mention it to my instructor. I did find some visualization exercises online, you know, the kind meant to shield you from everyone else's "vibes," and that helped a little... but I'm still nowhere near being able to snap my fingers and conjure up a literal ring of fire during a conversation or whatever. I just can't hit that level of focus yet.
It’s a relief to hear there are people out there who have actually dealt with this stuff—means I just need to hang in there and keep practicing, I guess.🙂
I don't know if there's a connection here, but my grandma on my mom's side spent her whole life making herbal remedies, those little charms and stuff, and reading Tarot cards... she actually made a decent living doing it, too😢. Whether she was actually tapping into something real or she was just an incredible actress, who knows? She passed away when I was just a kid.

Well, of course you're feeling it... and when people talk about the spiritual path as if it's all sunshine, rainbows, and effortless bliss... you've only just scratched the surface. Just wait until everything you've suppressed for decades starts surfacing, or when you finally encounter the "friendly" crowd from the astral plane... it’ll be like hitting a wall at Wall Street😉... this "unwanted empathy" you're experiencing is merely the prologue😬

... just wait until they start vacuuming your carpets while you're asleep—that would be something! And don't even get me started on the windows 😉

People can see for miles, bend spoons with their minds, and vacuum their own floors... honestly, total amateurs...

And you’ve got these self-proclaimed "experts" making a killing off it—basically just sucking up all the local housekeeping gigs for themselves...😁

But let's be realistic... American housekeepers aren't exactly models... they're usually just older ladies looking for some extra work...😬

Still, I see your point... if one doesn't resist those "darker impulses," they'll spend every night indulging in affairs with "various types of domestic help"... 😉 ...though after a month of that, they won't be quite as energetic... unlike the housekeepers, who will surely multiply...😬
