Our Check Mark said:Muslims have this massive delusion where they expect people to respond nicely to their bad behavior, thinking they can win sympathy through terrorism or burning flags.

The whole narrative is basically, "Think about why this is happening, and once you figure out 😁, then maybe be nice and watch your step so we stop acting out."

But the reality is they totally underestimate Western democracy and our moral boundaries. They could mess up way harder than they realize.

Oh, so because you're some big-shot Western democrat, you just know everything, right?
First off, who gave you the right to claim all Muslims are terrorists? You're grouping everyone together with those primitive maniacs.
And is it only Muslims doing bad things? Is nobody else?
I know in your head, the world would be paradise if it weren't for Muslims.
Let me open your eyes a bit. First, Muslims are actually the biggest victims of terrorism—of all kinds. They are the ones suffering from maniacal Islamists planting bombs to kill as many as possible. Those evil extremists are killing the very people they claim to represent. Then there's state-sponsored terrorism... the so-called Muslim world is already too broken and exhausted for things to get much worse. And let's be real—it wasn't Muslim tanks, planes, or armies backed by the West that showed up to enforce order and democracy or screw them over. It was the exact opposite.
Look, I hate Al-Qaeda and all that garbage too. The world would be a better place without them. But I also hate the terrorists masquerading as democrats who swoop in to plunder under the guise of helping people. Money. Oil is always the driver.
And you people, sitting there jerking off to American military action against those leftover scraps? Seriously? I mean, I admire brave Americans, but a superpower versus half-naked losers? You guys are absolute trash.
Why didn't the U.S. send in Special Forces to locate and take out those terrorists specifically? That would actually be something. Instead, they're too afraid of getting burned again after what happened in Mogadishu. So instead, they use an aircraft carrier to level entire villages based on assumptions that someone might be hiding something. Truly admirable.
To make matters worse, all this just recruits more terrorists. And the cycle repeats forever.

Look, even Hitler found Islam more appealing and strict than Christianity, and if you're too dense to figure out why, that's on you.

And here we have our global "peacekeepers" and "peacemakers"...

First off, where do you get off acting like every single Muslim is a terrorist? You can't just lump an entire group in with those primitive maniacs.

It's because the Muslims themselves aren't doing a damn thing—or they're doing next to nothing—to actually stop these idiots.

Terrorists get a free pass from Muslim countries. Their intelligence agencies completely ignore the terror camps sitting right under their noses, or they only bother to act when the rest of the world forces their hand and calls them out publicly.

And why do you think that is??

Because these terrorists are basically doing the dirty work to expand Islam. And let's be real, that expansion is supposed to happen regardless, since spreading the faith at any cost is supposedly part of the "peaceful" Islamic agenda anyway. It’s right there in the Quran.

and you guys sitting there jerking off over the US military action against those leftover scraps (honestly, even I can admire how brave Americans are—one superpower versus half-naked losers), you guys are absolute pieces of trash.
So why didn't the US just send their special ops into that backwater village to track down and kill those terrorists? That would actually mean something. Instead, they got burned once before and now they're too scared (Black Hawk Down style)... so they just park an aircraft carrier offshore and level entire villages based on some vague assumption that something shady is happening... truly inspiring stuff...
And if you want the kicker... this whole thing just recruits more terrorists... and the cycle just goes on forever!

I'm with you on that. To keep things simple, let me just say I despise that hypocritical, heavy-handed American behavior just as much as anyone.

But if I were forced to choose? I'd much rather deal with an American who leaves me alone unless I mess with his interests, than some extremist cleric who wants to screw me over whenever and however he wants just because the Quran says so...

Ha, ha... in that case, go sign up for Mr. Bush's mass recruitment drive—there's a fresh batch of 20,000 waiting for Iraq... seriously, what are you even talking about?
Has Iraq ever attacked America, anywhere, at any time?
The US will come after you if you get in their way (meaning you have oil or gas, not because you're bothering them personally), and they won't even ask permission... and what do you know about the Quran anyway?
Have you ever even read the book?
And here you are, explaining to us what a cleric says and what the Quran dictates.
As for terrorists, that has nothing to do with spreading Islam (the kind of Islam they spread is doomed to fail)... though it is true they have hideouts in most countries... and they probably hate America because of the unconditional support for Israel...
Honestly, you should just go ask them yourself; maybe they'll even convert you to Islam.😬

Tyndall AFB said:Total shocker, honestly 🙂

I haven't seen any reports saying there was more than one AC-130 out there, do you have some more info on that?

There were some helicopters hovering around the area too, though nobody's really sure if they're US or Ethiopian. Plus, Hornets from the Eisenhower are running intense recon flights over Somalia

Anyway, as long as it means one less jihadist out there, I guess it's all good.

🙂

To be totally honest with you, I haven't been following this case that closely because life's just been so busy lately.

Come on, man, quit talking nonsense when there's better things to do. What do you actually know about US diplomacy, American exceptionalism, or those Wilsonian moral guidelines that have basically shaped how the USA enters the world stage? And what kind of joke is "oil in Vietnam" or Korea, Japan, or Germany? Those were some of the heaviest, most expensive US interventions ever, both in cash and in lives. Forty thousand US soldiers died in Korea, and tens of thousands were wounded just so free people could defend themselves against totalitarian creeps; there wasn't any oil interest there or anything else. They helped rebuild a country that now competes with them through cheap imports (the same goes for Japan and honestly much of Europe), yet here you are, squawking like a bunch of hens over a low-intensity conflict like Iraq that's minor in the grand scheme of things. And what about Hitler or even Hirohito? Would they have mattered if the USA hadn't lured them toward the Pacific to attack Russia just like Hitler wanted? You don't have a clue about any of this, you're just projecting your own small-mindedness onto everyone else.

The day a government and its own voters in a Muslim nation actually find the backbone to host something like Miss Universe without protests, burning the Quran, or smashing palaces, then maybe I'll start believing in the good intentions of Islamic states. Next step? Separate church and state. And finally—just leave those poor guys alone and go buy some Teslas...
Until that happens, I’m all for wiping out extremists everywhere, every single second, regardless of who they side with, because I don't trust them for one damn second.

Fighting continues in Mogadishu between unidentified "rebels" and government forces alongside their Ethiopian allies.

http://english.aljazeera.net/mritems...205339_1_5.jpg

Tensions boiled over Wednesday morning after rebels launched overnight raids on government barracks. In response, government forces flooded the streets and began conducting house-to-house searches. This sparked significant pushback, leading to violent clashes between local residents, masked insurgents, and both government troops and Ethiopian soldiers.

Gunfire and explosions have been echoing through the city all day long, from early morning straight through the afternoon.
Most of the fighting took place in parts of Mogadishu inhabited by members of the Ayr sub-clan, who maintain close ties to the Islamic Court.
On the other hand, things remained peaceful in the neighborhoods home to the Darod clan, which includes the transitional government president, Abdullah Jusuf Ahmed.

We don't have much clarity regarding the rebels yet, though they are suspected to be members of the Islamic Court. A government official previously noted that there are roughly 3,500 Islamic Court militants hiding within the civilian population in Mogadishu.

More and more soldiers are being hit every single night. Doctors at the local municipal hospital reported that 15 people have been rushed in over the last 24 hours suffering from gunshot wounds, including three soldiers.

"This isn't going to just blow over," stated Muhammad, the head of the medical department. "As long as those Ethiopians remain, people are going to be determined to kill them."
The International Herald Tribune.

US Special Forces.
The interim Prime Minister of Somalia stated on Wednesday that US Special Forces are needed on the ground, as the government and Ethiopian troops have yet to reclaim the final strongholds held by the Islamic militia.
"They have all the expertise and the right gear to track those people down," he stated.

A high-ranking government official just revealed that a small team of US Special Forces is already on the ground in Somalia, providing tactical advice to both the Ethiopian military and government troops.

The loss of civilian lives during American military strikes is a devastating reality.
The UN Secretary-General expressed concern that US airstrikes in the southern Juba region could potentially impact civilians.

http://imgs2.kavkazcenter.com/eng/co.../10/7119_1.jpg

His warning came right after AP reported that US forces launched new strikes against Somalis this past Tuesday.

An American intelligence officer reported that between five and ten people were killed in the latest attack, though forces from the Somali Islamic Court have offered a different account. Reports indicate that approximately 70 civilians were killed during the US strikes.

The fighting in the southern Juba region is getting intense.

Sources and locals in Afmadow have confirmed to the KC-A that fighting is breaking out in the forested, mountainous terrain of the Juba region. One resident from the area reached out via phone to Mogadishu, reporting that roughly 70 civilians were killed during recent airstrikes. He noted that the bombings began on Sunday, right as Ethiopian troops in the region were facing the threat of defeat.

http://english.aljazeera.net/mritems...205361_1_2.jpg

Nearly a hundred soldiers from both the local government and an Ethiopian force lost their lives when the US directly intervened in the conflict.

The Juba region was one of the first areas where the Islamic movement, led by Sheikh Hasan Turki, established its strongholds back in the 90s. Its rugged landscape of mountains and dense forests provides the perfect cover for soldiers to remain undetected. Many locals have confirmed that it was indeed Sheikh Hasan Turki’s forces who were responsible for repelling both the Ethiopian and government troops over the last nine days.

Diplomats from France, Italy, Egypt, the Arab League, and the African Union have voiced their criticism regarding the US strikes, warning that these actions will only serve to further destabilize Somalia.

Still pinning your hopes on Democrats? Democracy is about as sturdy as a house of cards in a hurricane. 🙂

Honestly, damn it, that's just the vibe you're giving off. Prove me wrong. I’d much rather deal with folks like Hindus or Jews, frankly. 🙄

briskbadger18 said:And if things get even worse... it just recruits more terrorists... and it goes on forever like that!

It doesn't go on forever. It stops when the West finally snaps. What do you think, buddy? You think it's just madness? You clearly don't know how dirty the West actually gets. You think we're all polite little citizens? Even Hirohito thought that way once. 🙄

The Secretary-General of the UN has voiced serious concerns regarding the possibility of American airstrikes in southern Somalia hitting innocent civilians.

http://imgs2.kavkazcenter.com/eng/co.../10/7119_1.jpg

His warning comes right on the heels of an Associated Press report detailing fresh American attacks against Somali forces this past Tuesday.

One U.S. intelligence official claimed the most recent strike resulted in 5 to 10 deaths, though Somali Islamic forces have asserted that approximately 70 civilians were killed during the American raids.

Another news flash for you... out of all those sources you just cited, this one is by far my favorite http://kavkazcenter.com/eng/ 😍

Honestly, I think it’s best if the Americans just keep hitting back. Wherever you see groups like the Taliban, the Mujahideen, Hamas, Hezbollah, or any other jihadist factions popping up, they really need to be dealt with.
