Follow that dusty trail running alongside the river. Don't head left—it's a total dead zone where even the wildlife stays clear! Instead, swing right toward that massive rock formation...

Of course he was a hardline leftist. There's absolutely no debating that.

He played like he was chasing glory instead of following a playbook, completely ignoring the tactical side of things. Man, that was such a massive blunder.

Dear Christ !!! 👍

He was just some guy preaching from the sidelines—talking about God and humanity, instead of focusing on God and Americans.

GOD and AMERICANS 🙂

Greven said:He was a communist, obviously. No debate there.

Igr'o went chasing paradise and ignored the strategy. Big mistake.

drug Christ!!! 👍

Yeah, sure. But aren't you guys atheists? If so, Jesus can't be a communist.

Telling everyone they can walk right through the pearly gates flies in the face of traditional faith that actually defines who belongs in the temple... it’s just another metaphor about how the elites shouldn't control people's lives, equality, and all that stuff.

So, let's see the conservatives try to debunk that one with some actual logic...

The way this was phrased is just off, considering Jesus lived ages ago. It’d make way more sense if you asked:
Are liberals or conservatives actually closer to what Jesus taught?

This topic is honestly just mindless and incredibly stupid.

Arguments are flying everywhere lately—honestly, the right wing is really showing off the full spectrum of their "wisdom" again. 😍

Yeah, the server might actually crash from all this "constructive" input... 😁

Oh, please. I’m sure there’s at least one person out there who actually views Jesus as a historical figure. What exactly is so retarded or stupid about debating the political leanings of someone from history?

Disclaimer: We guarantee all participants that they won't sin or end up in hell because of this discussion. It's ok to discuss.

Ego vos absolvo 🙂

Jesus's teachings were fundamentally anti-traditionalist for the era they emerged in.

Jesus showed more tolerance and compassion toward fallen women than most modern priests in the US—which really highlights the pathetic, regressive shifts happening within the American Catholic Church. He accepted people as they were while still believing in their capacity for moral growth. That’s a leftist idea, but it definitely isn't communist.

Jesus advocated for a radical overhaul of one's lifestyle (drop everything and follow me). In other words, Jesus was a revolutionary, which is something the Right can never be; the Right is reactionary and focused on cementing existing customs. You see this kind of messaging from communists and anarchists alike.

Jesus championed love among people and preached that everyone is equal before God. That doesn't fit right-wing discourse, which tends to focus on hierarchies—on who is "more" righteous, closer to God, or better than others. That’s the language of moderates.

Jesus practiced forgiveness and turned the other cheek. On the flip side, the far-right leans toward institutional vengeance (Auschwitz), while communists lean toward extrajudicial vengeance (Jonestown). In that sense, liberals are actually closest to Jesus.

Jesus rejected the very concept of the state (earthly kingdoms). This puts him close to the anarchists.

Essentially, Jesus fought injustice and stood up for the individual, especially the downtrodden and the weak. He offered hope for a better, fairer life, even beyond death. It would be wrong to label him a leftist, but it's equally obvious he has almost nothing in common with the Right.

P.S. Honestly, I can't believe some people here fail to realize that Jesus was a man—a human being. He was both God and man. (To me, primarily a man—but that's debatable; however, treating Jesus exclusively as a divine entity just shows a basic ignorance on the part of those who claim otherwise).

But let’s be real, he wasn't an anarchist because when his land was under Roman occupation, he didn't have a single political bone in his body and didn't actually do anything about it.

Then you’ve got those people claiming he occupied both the left and right wings of the spectrum just because... well, how else is he supposed to fly up to heaven? Basic aerodynamics, right? 😁

How is it even possible for the son of the one guy the leftists claim doesn't exist to be a leftist himself?🤣

You could say he was fundamentally opposed to the structure of the state, but he valued individual human life far too much to ever advocate for tearing down the government through violence. His humanism kept him from leading a revolution. Instead, he called for an internal revolution within people—one that would eventually, inevitably, trigger an external one.
By changing yourselves, you change the world—that’s how Jesus put it for those willing to listen.
