It doesn't matter. Honestly, I've moved past all that. I finally found a much better venue, one run by genuinely great people. It’s night and day.I've had enough. It’s all just noise at this point.I feel like I have a responsibility here to issue a warning. Everyone needs to watch their step. We can't risk having everything scrapped because someone decided to act unprofessionally. It’s not exactly easy finding a venue that can accommodate 150 people on five months' notice for a cruise, you know? Or maybe "they" just need to actually do their jobs and show some professionalism for once. In this industry, a solid recommendation is everything. Don't throw it away.
Everyone on this forum jumps straight to panic mode over a single mistake.
I realize it’s hard when you’re the one dealing with the screw-up, but the reality is that NIRS is a new venue. They deserve some grace while they find their footing. It’s tough to swallow after getting burned, but maybe after ten more weddings, that same venue will prove to be the best in the business.
The same goes for debating whether Vic is rude or not. That’s a matter of taste. If someone has heard him speak at several receptions, it’s frankly disrespectful to keep trying to convince them otherwise.
You all need to accept the fact that there is no debating matters of taste.
