Check out Craigslist—there’s always something popping up there—or just hit up some of those online music marketplaces.

rapidmason10 said:check out their site... you can even add a guitarist if you want (that'll run you another $220). Their base rate is about $1,100 for the three of them.

Oh, and they're actually playing at my backyard BBQ! 😁

Actually, the price for the three of them isn't $1,100 anymore—it jumped up to $1,300... we just put them on hold yesterday.

p.s. Seriously, what is up with these prices climbing every single day? It feels like a joke.

Well, I went ahead and grabbed four of them! 😁

I even added an extra guitarist to the mix... and honestly, I had my deposit down and everything months ago.😁

The food was excellent, and they were incredibly proactive about refilling everything before it even ran out. They were serving nothing but Fanta and Coca-Cola, not some cheap off-brand stuff. Truly impressive.
A band called Wrong Way performed, and they were also highly commendable. It’s a five-piece group of young guys who created a fantastic atmosphere.

As for the drinks... obviously they're serving Fanta and Coca-Cola... I mean, who else serves that generic store-brand junk at a venue? 😲😲

Personally, I didn't have nearly as good of an experience with the Castle when it comes to the food... plus, the service was way too slow for my liking.

I've heard the same thing about the food and the service being subpar!

Now, I can't tell if that was just specifically regarding the one banquet we're discussing, or if it's their general reputation... I honestly don't know.😍

A ton of people I know have complained about that venue... so I'm betting it's legit. Plus, I actually went there myself and saw it firsthand, so I know for a fact.

Hello,

We are currently scouting for a band. Has anyone here worked with the group Visa? How is their wedding management, what are their rates, etc.? Any insights would be appreciated.🙂

Visa is great, but they aren't cheap. Expect to pay $2,500.

I've heard nothing but good things about Visa—they're supposedly the best. My only heads-up is that they aren't cheap.

I bet everyone from the Bay Area will be more expensive since you have to cover travel too.
I can suggest Major League Baseball; they’ll play my party, but they're pretty booked up. They charge about $1,500. What date is your party?

Look, I was there for two days and it was great. The bride and groom heard the complaints about the food beforehand, so they gave them a little "warning," and everything from the catering to the service was actually top-notch.

See? They gave them a heads-up... but what if they hadn't????

Whatever, man... that's secondary. The bottom line is the happy couple had a blast, and that's all that matters!👍

Well, I heard back from the folks over at Visa. Just like you all warned me, they're asking for $2,500 plus accommodation insurance... hm...

In my case, they were pouring small cups of Frank Sinatra and PepsiCo in the stands, but then they had the nerve to charge me full price for a 1.5 liter bottle... total scammers.$6.75....lowclass clowns👎👎

Do you think they have enough staff to keep up with the food service and everything?
Has anyone actually been to a party there lately?

I’m honestly torn between that spot and Bellevue in Savannah. I could really use some advice here.

Honestly, you might be better off picking a larger room than those two at Castell. I was actually at their smaller upstairs venue just recently, back on July 26th. To be blunt, the food and service were absolutely terrible! The actual space is decent enough, but man, that parking lot out front is a total nightmare! 👎

This pie was served in the larger hall...
Yeah. And the parking is pathetic.
