Nicholas Ortiz8 said:Jacob Harris88, didn't you have those issues with the band? How did everything end up turning out in the end?

The band actually ended up being absolutely phenomenal👍👍👍
everyone was completely blown away, and I am honestly so relieved that I didn't go through with changing them...🙏🙏🙏(even if they did make my life a living hell for about five years straight...

While I'm at it, I've gotta ask—does anyone have a lead on a killer hairstylist in Los Angeles who can handle wedding updos?

I actually hosted my own event in San Antonio back in September—I think I had about 96 people with the band—and honestly, it was fantastic. I had three long tables set up right alongside the beach, plus the main one positioned vertically at the top (if you check their website, one of the venue photos actually features my buffet setup with the screen at the head). Everyone seemed genuinely happy with both the food and the service; they really seem to be striving to maintain a certain standard. My guests kept mentioning how incredible the beachfront location was—perfect for photos—and being able to step outside like that was a huge hit. Some people even went for a late-night swim after the buffet, or rather, an early morning 🙂

That idea about swimming crossed my mind too...👍 And those venue photos are absolutely stunning!! Though, looking through them, I don't see a dance floor anywhere?? Is there actually enough space for dancing??

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Does anyone have a number they could PM me for a wedding band? Just looking for a group that’s actually decent. Thanks

I actually had the same thought about the pool area..👍 A, and those sale photos you posted are absolutely killer!! But wait, I don't see a floor split anywhere in the shots. Is there even enough room to dance?

The whole ground floor is basically split into two sections—you’ve got the lower half with all the dining tables, and then this massive upper level. Take another look at my photos in my signature; I think it shows pretty clearly. Honestly, I actually liked that it was divided up because the older folks who aren't into dancing could still keep an eye on everything happening. Oh, and one more thing I totally forgot to mention—there’s a pool on the 4th floor that looks incredible. It has this terrace with a killer view, and if you can sneak away for a few minutes, you could get some legendary shots up there. Even dog had her little welcome party there since there's a bar right upstairs too. 🙂

Vesna’s salon near the park—Nada is the stylist. I was quite pleased with her work, and my maid of honor was as well...👍>

Honestly, Lido is awesome—they actually performed at a couple of backyard BBQs I've been to, and I was totally going to book them for my own party, but they were already snatched up... such a bummer!😢 I'll shoot you a private message with 😉's number and all the other details.🙂

Hey girls! Anyone here have experience with the band My Way from San Diego? Or maybe the Banana Band? Also, what’s the deal with Kanela?
Thanks so much in advance! You would seriously be doing me a huge favor!

I got married quite a while ago, so I thought I’d share some helpful tips. The food at the St. Jude banquet hall was incredible... we used the Barbara Band and everyone who attended said the music was top-tier—I was absolutely thrilled. Also, if you need a photographer, look up Patrick.

I recall My Way being quite good, at least from my memory of catching their sets back in my high school days. 🙂 I suppose one wonders if they’ve changed their lineup recently, or if their quality has fluctuated since then. 🤷 I am aware that a fair number of people around San Diego hire them for private parties. 😉

I actually caught Nov di's reception a couple of years back—they had the band Lido playing and they were honestly incredible... I’d definitely recommend them to anyone! 👍

I’m looking for recommendations for a venue and a band for a wedding with roughly 230 guests. Any suggestions? 👍

You’ve got Sale Dolish and Fenix over in a town like Austin, and even the TTS sounds like a damn robot.
I'm still spinning that old 021 track... but honestly, you’ve got Viva, Barbara, First League, and Bomba ready to go.

For venues—maybe something like a grand hotel in Los Angeles, a nice estate out in Napa, or even a large ballroom in Chicago—though I'm not sure if a club in San Francisco could actually fit that many people.
band: maybe a local jazz group, a wedding DJ, or one of those high-energy cover bands you'd find at a big Austin venue...
