Man, he’s honestly convinced himself that half the people showing up won't even know their way around town and will end up getting lost. He’s worried about who’s going to keep the parade moving through all those traffic lights, how there's zero parking available, or that the police will be pulling guests over on their way out... I mean, it’s not like they’ve ever hosted a single major parade in the city before 🙄 but honestly, I don't even have the energy to argue about it, so I'm looking for something outside the city limits... 😉

San Antonio was stressing me out, but we finally cleared $150, matching what those Amigos guys are pulling.
The menu at Lava feels way too heavy on the $167 basic options, if you ask me.
And TTTS? I’m not feeling the vibe—having to trek through all that just to get to the hall is a drag, plus Long Beach isn't even an option here.
I’m still hunting for Diocletian’s site, but it seems like neither Mammoth nor Castel have them listed.
I know, I know, I’m being incredibly picky... 🙄
At the end of the day, everything will settle down and I'll end up going to Honeycomb... 😲

Since you're already thinking about heading to Honeycomb, you should definitely check out that hotel right on the beach in Malibu (I can't remember the name). The location is killer, and they actually do pier dinners even during the off-season. There's also that St. Jude's hotel over in Catalina.

BTW, why wouldn't Bolero work? The hall is top-tier, and it's basically out of the city center, so you don't have to deal with all that traffic. 😉

I think Resnick looks pretty decent. Has anyone actually eaten there lately? How’s the vibe, the service, and the food?
Thanks, Angela Flores3 🙂

What do you mean when you say Bolero isn't really a major city? 😕

I just stumbled upon the Bellevue Aparthotel in Trogir. Does anyone know what their capacity is like, and how is the parking situation there?

Look, I’ve got an inside track there so I can give you the real scoop... the contract says they can handle up to 250 people, but honestly? 200 is probably the sweet spot before things get messy. I sent over some cash earlier—you can check my signature if you want to see the proof—maza9.9 posted some shots of the venue there, or I can just shoot you the photos I have directly via email.😉

I saw the photos and did a quick Google search for 😂
(it was just her own posts from a different forum)
So, is an 180cm height actually fine?
And what’s the deal with the parking situation?

They’ve got parking right behind the hotel plus that spot out front by the farmer's market—people tell me they use that one all the time. Honestly, finding a spot isn't even an issue.😉

What about the price?
I feel like I saw somewhere that it was around $40?
Does that include drinks?
How does the system work?

Are you looking for the second half of 2010? If that's the case, finding a hall shouldn't be an issue at all.

it looks like the issue isn't about the price, but more about picking the right 😂

yeah, $40 covers everything for me—drinks (wine, beer, soda, water) and the room decor, but doesn't include the head table...
and hey, if you're talking about February 2010, you can just make up whatever venue you want at this point😉

I think I finally tracked her down 😂
Still need to get back to them about the MBM stuff 🤣
Are the classics their main thing? Do they have other options or just that one style?
Just asking for info really, since I’ll probably head over to check out the venue and crunch some numbers with the crew anyway.
I see Jane is loving it! How's the accessibility there? 😍

Mine’s pretty standard, but you can tweak bits here and there. Like, I’ll swap stuff out, but whatever... just head over there. The girl is super chill and easy to deal with—you can work anything out with her😉

Hey, I already told you—the link is right there in my signature! 😍

I am honestly obsessed with everything about this venue! The owner went totally above and beyond—she even tracked down specific purple bows just because that’s what I was looking for. They are incredibly easy to work with, too. They actually listen to every single suggestion you throw at them and go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want. If you need to change something, they just do it. No hassle, no drama. Seriously, I’m over the moon!

The covers are classic white, but you can grab the bows in all these different colors!😛We’ve got lavender, rose, purple, beige, that soft sage green, and orange... and now they're looking to add yellow to the mix! 😍
I'd say they've got at least 130 people there, maybe hitting 230 if the crowd really shows up.

If you need anything at all, just holler. I'll shoot Jane's info over to you in a DM! 👍

super 🙂
I don't have to worry about missing out on getting a date next week, right? 🤔
While I was reading earlier, I had this feeling that in a place like Los Angeles, it’ll soon be impossible to book a venue more than a year in advance if you want any specific choice,
but looking at these comments now, I feel like I’m actually way behind schedule 😂

From what I know, they haven't even opened up bookings for 2010 yet. 😍

But hey, honestly, your best bet is to just hit up Deer, go check out the venue in person, and ask her if she can hold that date for you while you decide. Just tell her you'll follow up in a few weeks... (assuming you actually love the vibe of the place once you see it)

That’s how a ton of girls handle it, and she won't give you any grief about it either.

Does anyone happen to know if there’s a shop in San Francisco with a decent selection of fabrics? I’m on this absolute wild goose chase trying to find some ivory-colored, irregularly pleated matte organza—it feels like a mission impossible at this point... I’ve been scouring stores in Chicago already, but I figured I’d check if anyone knows a spot in SF too.

Hey everyone! Has anyone here ever had a wedding at the Hilton in Monterey? It doesn't come up on this forum much, but looking at the photos, the place looks stunning. I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually been there—what was the service like, how was the food, etc.?
