feralfox14 said:Hey everyone! Has anyone here ever had a wedding at the Hilton in Monterey? It doesn't come up on this forum much, but looking at the photos, the place looks stunning. I’d love to hear from anyone who has actually been there—what was the service like, how was the food, etc.?

One of our members, meli2, held her wedding there and she couldn't have been happier! Absolutely zero complaints from her side, and her photos turned out amazing... plus, they were pretty reasonable with the room rates for guests traveling in.

What’s the maximum guest capacity at the Hilton (specifically for a wedding)?

But hey, honestly, your best bet is to just hit up Deer, go check out the venue in person, and ask her if she can hold that date for you while you decide. Just tell her you'll follow up in a few weeks... (assuming you actually love the vibe of the place once you see it)

That’s how a ton of girls handle it, and she won't give you any grief about it either.

Listen, ladies, I booked my hall two whole months ago—and that was for August 2010! That should give you a pretty clear idea of how much lead time you really need!!

Look, honey, just listen... and maybe learn how to actually read 😛
. We were talking about one specific room at the Hilton Hotels, not just being general... 😘

But honestly, INO has two separate halls, and I had such a blast at the party there that I’m already heading back on April 25th.
One hall is on the ground floor while the other is upstairs,
and when I was actually at the party, I didn't even realize there was a second level; plus, they have a massive parking lot, great food, and the service is top-notch. 👍

they’ve added a massive new hall as well, though having attended a gala in the smaller one, I can only say🙏

I was told 180, and I really hope that’s accurate. I love the place so much that I’m actually considering cutting the guest list if space ends up being an issue. 😁 I'm planning to head over there soon to talk through the details, check out the floor plan, and see how the tables are laid out. I'll let you know what I find out.

Snap a pic, snap a pic! 😍

It looks like we’re heading out the weekend after Easter to check out those perfectly organized halls at the local Honeybee, Hilton Hotels, and Bellevue,
and someone mentioned that Diocletian has this massive new hall now, so we might just swing by there too... 🤔

😘

I won't repeat myself... I saw Twist OFF at a party in San Francisco once and again in San Diego, and they were great. They play mostly live sets and the energy is always solid. Their singer, Sunny, used to sing that "Here I Am" song back when she was with the Coast. In my opinion, the best way to judge any band is to catch them live in a bar or a club to see how they actually perform. A DVD gives you a completely different impression than being there in person... so, there's my two cents...

God!
I'm searching for a band for a wedding in San Francisco and stumbled upon this thread. I have a few groups I'm looking into, and I noticed you've seen The Beach Boys. A couple of my friends have spoken highly of them, so I was wondering if you could send me their contact number and any other details you might have.
Thanks!

Are you just out here running your own ad or what? 🤷

I caught a commercial for Coca-Cola on some local channel—not my cup of tea personally, but hey, to each their own, right?
Still, I don't get why people are so dead set on running this massive anti-ad campaign.

My apologies if I misstepped or said something wrong; I'm still getting used to how things work around here...
I don't quite get the point... what's all this talk about advertisements and anti-advertisements? Sorry, I'm new, so please excuse me if I've done something out of line.

Hey 🙂
Been lurking here for a minute now, but finally decided to jump in... Gotta say, you guys have been a lifesaver with all the advice. Seriously, thanks a ton. Anyway, I'm getting married this December. Right now, we've only got the venue locked in—the Bolero—but finding music is turning into a total nightmare... if anyone's heard anything about The Kiki Band or Major League, let me know. Any info helps 😁

I don't know about Kiki, but for Major League... yeah 😍 that's my band... so I highly recommend them.
Just a heads up though, you might want to hurry... I think they're pretty booked up. 😉
