it sounds like your judgment was off...
or maybe you weren't such a great friend yourself because you didn't realize he actually needed it and didn't lend it or help him out... and there's more to it than that. Why did you push the whole thing down? Probably because you had to face yourself. (Or maybe you haven't even reached that point yet. We always find it hardest to forgive ourselves)

No, my judgment was fine. It’s just that jealousy turns people into monsters. What good would my old books on the occult do him when he doesn't even understand what they are?
Are you sure you aren't just emotionally wounded here? Is this all about that "pain" you're feeling?🙂

Not at the moment, and hasn't been for quite some time.
Staying on topic here...

Look, it's been ages since I actually felt emotionally wounded.
Take this scenario: You have a close friend you hang out with almost every single day. Then, they steal from you. You know it was them because you literally saw it happen or found your stuff exactly where they left it.
Would that mess with your head? Most people would. Me? I just moved on. I suppress the experience and leave it at that. I have other things to focus on. Especially since my job doesn't allow me to show any emotion. So, I learned how to shut down. Simple as that.🙂

quote: 'To a wise person, the whole world is a teacher, but to a fool, the entire universe is full of enemies. That’s why the wise move forward while the fool just stands there wondering what's going on.'
