Hello everyone,

I was just walking through the mall, checking out some different types of rings and bands. There are so many options available everywhere.

Simple bands start at about $0.25, and going up from there. So, the most basic ones are around $0.90. That's quite affordable. There really is a huge variety to choose from. Depending on how much you buy, they might even drop the price a bit.

They have medium-sized rings. 1.2 miles They come in packs of ten.
P.S. I was also looking at wedding bands over in Indianapolis, and they have some truly stunning pieces starting from $833. The prices are just as great!

Thanks for the heads up. As for wedding bands—if anyone's interested, head over to Orašje. We paid way too much for our yellow gold sets back home $733. Our jeweler was such a legend though—he actually met us at the shop on a Sunday at 8 PM just to hand them over since neither of us could make it during normal hours because of work. If anyone wants to know which jeweler he is, just shoot me a DM.

Found a band for 1100 bucks—including the backup players. These guys are killer!! Such a bummer I already put down a deposit on my other musicians though. If anyone’s interested, I’ve got the info and their number right here. They’re out of Indianapolis.

My band usually pulls in about 8,000 with the backing group.

I don't have any idea what the price for organza is. However, I suppose it might be worth heading down to the main corridor. Even if someone is coming all the way from Indianapolis or Jackson...

For wedding hair—I always go to Jane at Levi's. Her work is seriously top-tier.

As for the cake, I think they’re about $13/lb.

A few pages back, I think someone mentioned photographers like Brzica and Kelbas... do you guys have any other recommendations for a photographer in the Dallas area? I was looking into Photo Ilia, but they’re already booked up...

James Lopez8 said:So, I finally decided to sit down and map out how my wedding day is actually going to look! We’ve settled on the Kristal Hall in Slough, where the cost per chair is $24, which—thankfully—includes the covers and lighting for free. That price pretty much covers everything: food, dessert, and all the drinks. We're planning on having a traditional family luncheon $1500. For music, we have $4833 (Svirci) lined up, and our photographer will be $4000 (Mijić). As for the church, the yard, the tent, and the table settings, a talented girl who runs her own small business is handling all the decor (you can find her on Facebook under Sandra Decorations). For hair and makeup, I'm going with $87 (Maja make up artist). My boutonnieres are being custom-made by Ana Decorations (she's also on Facebook). Our wedding bands are being crafted by a specialist from St. Louis, and we expect to pay about $1167 for them (they're actually the exact same style Koci was looking for at $2933). I'm still not entirely sure what the final tally for catering and other miscellaneous costs will be. I ended up renting my wedding dress from Isabelle, and the total came to $1833, especially since I managed to snag a $267 discount.

Can I ask if the photographer's fee of $4000 includes video as well? If it does, do you happen to know what he charges just for photography alone? Thanks!

Bobby, I’m right there with you on what Deer said about that hairstylist... she’s a total pro, a real master of her craft... 🙂 As for those pastries over in the suburbs, the price seems crazy low... I'm assuming we aren't getting a formal receipt for those? Just asking because I don't want any trouble with the IRS...

Yes, yes... that price covers both photo and video. It comes out to $1,500 ($3667) plus $1.75 thank-you notes (I need about 200 of them), bringing the total to $4000. I’m honestly not sure what the rate would be for just photography alone, since his quote bundled everything together.

A few girls have actually asked me about the wedding bands I had made in Indianapolis. A guy named Drake is making them for me—the final price for the pair was $1280 (we went with a width of 7.5 mm and a thickness of 1.5 mm, so they're a bit on the thicker side). I guess we got a pretty great deal, especially considering Koci quoted us $2933 for something similar, and even Lawrence over in the Midwest wanted up to 10 $0.00😲

Could you DM me Drake's number or some way to contact him? Everything at the big jewelry stores is just way too expensive...

Can I get Drake's contact info too? It looks like his prices are actually reasonable compared to everyone else out there.

I’m heading out this Sunday to pick up some rings, so I’ll probably take the opportunity to ask him if it's okay for me to share my size. I'll be sure to keep you all posted 😉

Any chance we can get a photo of the ring?
