One could argue that the timing isn't strictly critical. However, does it make any sense to burn through all three pills before lunch, only to find yourself completely crashing by the afternoon or staring at the ceiling unable to sleep tonight?😁

Yeah... I get that. That actually makes a lot of sense. 🙂

Anyone else out there mixing Ventolin and Klonopin? I just switched from doing Remeron and Klonopin over to Ventolin. Honestly, when I was on the Remeron, my sleep was great, but man, my libido went absolutely off the charts. It was like I turned into some kind of total sexual maniac overnight.

Before that, I was on Paxil for about a year, and then Remeron worked wonders by bringing my drive back—just maybe at a level I've never experienced before. Like, I could seriously go at it all day long. Just whenever. 😁
Ventolin doesn't seem too bad so far, and things are still working fine down there, but I feel like I'm sweating more than usual and my vision gets a little blurry sometimes. Hopefully that settles down soon, though, since it's only been 6 days...

Hey everyone.

Every single night, I find myself needing to take Sominex, and during the day, my doctor has me on half a tablet of Lorazepam as needed. Since both of these medications carry a sedative effect, I’ll admit I’m feeling a bit apprehensive about combining them.

Has anyone here navigated this specific combination before? I’d be curious to hear how it actually felt for you.

I am 20 years old.

Lorasil is meant for quick calming—its metabolites don't linger in your system for long, which is actually pretty good for your liver.

Sanval is for knocking you out fast; you basically need to take it five minutes before bed unless you want to be totally wiped out when it hits you.

Hey everyone.

Anyone else doing this specific combo? Any experiences?
I've been taking Clonazepam 2 x 1/2 for a year now, and just added Effexor (Alvent) to the mix...

I don't use that specific combination, but man, Clonazepam was just... ugh. Honestly, those were some of the worst pills I've ever dealt with. I tried them for a month and I felt absolutely terrible—just constant nausea, totally out of it, and I think I actually ended up feeling even more depressed than before... It was awful. 🙄
Are you saying Clonazepam works okay for you?

Honestly, Clonazepam hit me like a ton of bricks at first. It’s like you're in a total fog until your body finally gets used to it, but after that? It doesn't really knock you out anymore; it just sort of levels you out. Hard to even put into words, I guess...
Anyway, it actually worked wonders for me. I'm on Effexor now, and I'm thinking about slowly tapering off the Clonazepam, though part of me is wondering why I even bother since it feels so good right now. 🙂

So, basically, how much do antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds actually mess with the quality of, you know, a guy's future sperm? I see all these studies saying women should stop their meds if they get pregnant—unless their doctor decides staying on them is better for the mom's health or whatever...

But what nobody ever seems to talk about is how this stuff affects us guys. Does it change the quality? Will using ADs or anxiety meds impact the kids we eventually try to have?

Sorry if someone already brought this up, but I feel like it’s a pretty heavy topic that deserves some thought, especially since so many young people out there are on various types of therapy for different mental health struggles....

Any thoughts at all would be great. 👍

Antidepressants 'may harm sperm'

Could antidepressants impact male sperm quality?

So I'm on a mix of Luxet and Helix now. Before this, it was just Lexapro in the afternoon, but since things have "improved," I switched to this combo. We'll see how it plays out over the next few days... honestly, I feel way, way better right now. Is it just because of the Helix? Who knows. 🤷

I don't really have any intention of getting married, so I don't see myself becoming a dad anytime soon. 😁
So, regarding what was written about sperm quality—it sounds like more bad news specifically targeted at men, but as I mentioned before, it doesn't really affect my own life... it feels like just another headline for the masses.🤣

And how many milligrams is the Helix?

So, I’ve been on Zoloft for about three months now, and I was wondering—what kind of effect does alcohol actually have when you're taking this?
Like, if it's just one little beer, maybe a shandy or something around 2% alcohol?
I haven't even tried it yet!
I used to really love a good glass of red wine or a cold beer, but now, according to my psychiatrist, I’m not supposed to touch a single drop...
So... am I allowed? What are the long-term consequences if I just have one or two beers in the evening?
The other thing is, I just don't feel like going out anymore. Everyone around me is drinking, and I find myself making up all these excuses for why I won't be joining in that night... I really miss that feeling... Just having a beer, or a glass of red wine..........

Well, if you’re looking to develop a sudden, intense urge to go urban climbing or start hanging off streetlamps, then by all means, go right ahead. 😁

Honestly, you should probably run this by your doctor rather than asking people on a forum—it's too serious a question, and nobody here wants to take the responsibility if something goes wrong with you.
Plus, the instructions are pretty clear about it—no alcohol while taking these pills. Period.

Is anyone actually on Zeldox, or has anyone here dealt with it in the past? I'm starting to get the impression that I might be the only one in this group taking it, since I haven't seen anyone else chime in about their experience with it lately.
I’d really appreciate it if someone could reach out and share what it was like for you... maybe we can compare notes.

I was on Zoloft for quite a long time, and whenever I went out and had a few cocktails at parties or something, I honestly didn't feel any different or notice any weird side effects at all. It was just how my body reacted, so you really have to decide for yourself how you want to handle things. These days, I'm taking Lexapro, and it's pretty much the same story—I'll still have a drink here and there. I did hear from others that you definitely shouldn't mix alcohol with sleeping pills or anti-anxiety meds, though.
I actually tried taking Xanax once, and oh my gosh, I thought I was a goner! I passed out by 8:00 PM and then the next day at noon, I could barely even walk, so I decided right then and there that I'd just take one pill and call it a day.
You should give it a shot and see how it works for you, because it doesn't have to be such a scary thing for everyone...

calixta knocks me sideways. Before bed, I’d feel like a zombie with rubber legs... plus, it made me gain weight.
