There’s a search function available, and Roger Morgan4 already dropped the link for you earlier. But hey, just to save you the trouble, here it is:

I always seem to forget about the search engine.

Thanks!

So, I was wondering if anyone here has any actual experience dealing with Anafranil?
I’ve been on it for about a month and a half now, but all I seem to be getting is this overwhelming urge to sleep; I can't even fall asleep easily, but once I finally drift off, I stay under for ages, only to wake up feeling absolutely exhausted. On top of that, my hands have started shaking, and I’m dealing with this general sense of tremors throughout my body. My psychiatrist just bumped up my dosage, so now I'm taking two in the morning, two in the afternoon, and one in the evening.<>

How safe is modern medicine, really?
Just look at the last couple of years. Between accidental overdoses and fatal drug interactions, we've lost people like Diana, A. N. Smith, her son, H. Leadger, Jack... and others. Some cases might be outliers, but to me, this feels like unintentional killing or a game of Russian roulette😲.
I find myself wondering if pharmacology is actually reliable enough—at least, as much as I'd like it to be.🙄👎

Give me a break. We’re talking about massive quantities of medication here, not to mention mixing them with alcohol.
Calm down.🙂

Sure, I’d love to believe that too... He was supposedly on xanax, Zoloft, and a few other painkillers, but still... under medical supervision, I think they call it... Doesn't matter much when you aren't taking anything and don't need to, but it worries me since I've been on them for a while now for anxiety and depression. Now I'm just extra on edge because of the meds myself.😲 The irony...

If it makes you feel any better, I used to take xanax on nights when I went out drinking! Of course, I knew exactly where my limit was. And look at me, I'm still here.

I’d seriously have to go overboard with both to actually put myself in danger... and my dose was basically one 0.5 pill and maybe three or four Bud Lights!😬

Honestly, he was probably popping pills like candy. His doctor just kept signing off on whatever he wanted because, frankly, the guy was footing the bill!
The meds, sure, but within reason!

I’ve been through this phase myself😬.
Ever since I started antidepressants about eight years ago—trying various kinds along the way—I've dealt with some truly bizarre side effects. Honestly, they were revolting. That’s where the mania comes from; it isn't just baseless speculation, I'm speaking from experience. Maybe we should all just switch to heroin; look at Keith Richards, still kicking through the seventies and beyond.

And then there's all that noise about being "poisoned" by various literature regarding drug safety and Big Pharma lobbies (or whoever is running the show in D.C.)... heheh... curiosity killed the cat.

Look, I'm still young. There's plenty of time left for heroin!🎉
And besides, once this stuff stops working, I'll have to find something even stronger anyway.🤣

Honestly, his doctor had just retired right before that, so anything goes.☕

My advice would be: don't mess around with this. It’s ugly business. Nobody warned me clearly enough.😛
Honestly, right now I’d settle for some chamomile or valerian, or something like that... though I suspect it would have about as much effect on me as a soda would.😕 😠

And I bet he gave him whatever the hell he asked for. I don't doubt it for a second.☕
Like standard doses were ever going to be enough for him.

But I’ve been on this for over five years already!😁
Forget the herbal tea. At this point, even a miracle wouldn't help me!😂🤣

As long as you're under a doctor's supervision, it's safe.
And those examples? They aren't coincidences. In my opinion, it's just clever PR; they died from something much more "embarrassing."

I’m feeling the weight of it too... everyone seemed fine on paper, but then doubt starts creeping in. It’s unsettling.
I might sound a bit paranoid, but when you read the side effects, you start questioning your own sanity 🙂... because why would they risk an unnecessary placebo? Clearly, I’m a more complicated case 😬

Yeah, I was on it for a bit. Woke me up with some annoying side effects, so I'll keep this brief... basically, my doctor said the med is an older generation, which means it’s more toxic and comes with more baggage.
Always adjust things based on your doctor's advice.
Everyone reacts differently—it hit me hard, might not affect you at all. Just check in with a professional... stay safe.😉

Is this a normal reaction?
