Good morning... ☕ 🙂

Things are looking up for me. I'm on Prozac now and honestly, I wish I hadn't waited so long to stick with therapy. I'm not taking anything else alongside the Prozac. Since I actually managed to get some decent sleep last night, I'm hoping tonight goes the same way.🙂😁

Anyone been on Lariam for the long haul?
My psychiatrist gave me a bit of a scare today... apparently, it can cause hair loss.

Kevin Bailey2 said:Seroquel really drains you... feels like it eats up every nutrient in your body. For me, staying super hydrated before bed helped a lot, so give that a shot. If that doesn't work... maybe try something lighter, like Prazina.

I suppose I will try one of those approaches—either focusing on hydration or asking my doctor about Void. Hopefully, I can find some relief soon.

I have. For years now. A neurologist prescribed it for me after an abnormal EEG. I haven't lost a single hair. O
So... good luck with the hair, regardless.

That is great news. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. Tomorrow marks my eighth day on 25 mg. I hope I feel as good as you do soon. Until this kicks in and the side effects subside, I still need a bit of help from half a Lexapro pill.

I'm already about 13 days into the Zoloft. I hit a rough patch around day 7 when I tried bumping from half a pill to a full one. I was dealing with heavy daytime drowsiness and night sweats—tossing and turning in bed, insomnia, just all that stuff. So, I dropped back down to the half dose for two days. By the second day back on the half dose, I felt totally normal again. Honestly, I didn't even feel the half pill working, so I figured it was time to go for the full dose. Took the whole thing and zero side effects. Slept great that night, and now I've had two solid nights of sleep in a row. Someone actually recommended switching to something newer because I couldn't handle the jump to a full pill due to the side effects, but honestly, everything is working fine now. I'm going to ignore the suggestion to try Trintellix. Not interested in risking my liver if I don't have to.

Has anyone else on venlafaxine experienced that heavy morning fatigue, even after getting a solid 7 or 8 hours of sleep? I can't shake the feeling that this medication is making my sleep restless. Every morning, I wake up with this muscle lethargy and a slight wave of anxiety that usually clears up after about 40 minutes. I’m currently taking 37.5mg in the morning.

It’s not exactly insomnia, but my sleep quality is clearly trashed, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to fix this with meds.
Basically, I’m getting at least 8 hours of shut-eye a night (not even counting those afternoon naps I take way too often), yet I wake up feeling absolutely exhausted every single morning. It doesn't matter if I slept 8 to 10 hours or just 4—it’s always the same story. I can’t shake the fog, and waking up feels impossible. Honestly, I’m so over it; I have to set a million alarms just to have a fighting chance at actually getting out of bed on time.

Effexor gave me nothing but intense, exhausting dreams. They were way too much, and I ended up needing to take something like Xanax just to actually knock me out so I could sleep longer...

I'm heading to a funeral soon, and I just know the panic is going to hit me hard. Honestly, I’m fully expecting to pass out three or four times... but I really need to be there.
So, I wanted to ask, what's the maximum amount of Xanax I can take to make sure I'm sufficiently numbed out?

That’s really subjective. One time at work, I popped two 0.25mg tablets and was practically stumbling around 🥱. Usually, one is just right for me 😁. Honestly, try starting with just one 0.25mg pill and see how you feel.

It definitely seems like Effexor messes with your sleep patterns. Every morning, I wake up feeling all tense and anxious until I take my next dose to kill the feeling. But man, waking up with that anxiety is the worst—it absolutely ruins your quality of life.

So, a single 0.25mg Xanax is enough for you?
Now I'm starting to have some serious doubts about myself. 🤦

I'm a little confused now. 🤔 Are you saying 0.25 is too little or too much for you?

That is the absolute minimum dose... so I really shouldn't say how much I'm taking 😢
but honestly, everyone, what is the deal with this mental anguish? It's starting to get under my skin... without meds, I feel like a shell of a person, yet with them, I don't even feel like myself. What's the point of any of this?

If you wouldn't mind sharing a few thoughts with me 🙄
Has anyone here experienced any memory gaps while taking antidepressants or anti-anxiety meds???

I ended up taking three 0.5mg doses, so I managed to pull through somehow, though I did spend most of the time just crying my eyes out...

Since starting Lori, I couldn't even remember what I had for lunch yesterday.

It's technically an antiepileptic, but it's prescribed for panic attacks.

I’m facing a pretty serious issue here. I have absolutely no memory of last Wednesday or Thursday—it's just a total blank—and then I had to white-knuckle my way through a brutal crisis over the weekend. To top it all off, I woke up this morning with zero recollection of what happened yesterday at all. 🤦
My exams are staring me right in the face, yet here I am trying to study while feeling completely lost about my own state of mind. 🤦🤦🤦

The truth is, you can never truly get used to psychological pain—it's just one of those things. 🙂🙂

I haven't used those specific ones, but I was on antipsychotics and had the exact same issue. It’s that feeling where entire days just vanish from my head—mostly the stretches I spent in the hospital. After four months on that treatment, I finally decided to get myself off of it. I've been free from that crap for about ten days now.
