If you actually give a damn about her, then try talking to her about it—maybe even find a therapist to help her open up, because there’s no way she’d be acting this out unless she was completely overwhelmed by what happened.

I suppose she starts screaming the moment she lays eyes on him, just so he doesn't have the chance to pin the blame for her own mess on her instead.

If she's really that unstable, it’s better this way than having the kid and then smothering it. That would have been way worse. Just get away from people like that and be glad it ended this way. Find someone else and move on. 😉

btw, you sure she actually had the miscarriage? Or is she just acting out because she got pregnant and said that to spite you?? 🙄

greenpeak said:That’s exactly how I saw it too—just some hysterical defense mechanism to cover up the massive mess she made herself. Honestly, it felt totally irrational, bordering on straight-up psychopathic if you ask me.

If you're really feeling that way about the kid, that's heavy. But hey, time usually dulls the edge of that kind of pain eventually.

And look, if there's some ugly stuff you did that you haven't mentioned here, which is making you feel guilty for how she's acting now—well, conscience is a real bitch. If you need to, go talk to your buddies, a therapist, a priest... whatever helps you drop that weight.

I didn't leave anything out. I was happy, I popped the question, we wanted to get married, and that was the whole deal.
Actually, yeah... I probably should talk to someone about this.

how old was she?

About a year and a half, I guess.
She ended up getting pregnant at 19, so she was supposed to have the baby when she turned 20.

Seriously, just run for the hills while you still can, count your blessings that it ended like this, find someone else, and just move the hell on... 😉

👍 👍 (I'm mostly just seeing people in the dating scene for fun lately—nothing serious, just casual vibes since I am absolutely not ready to dive back into a committed relationship... plus, I'm only 21, there's zero rush.)

I'm positive. She should've given birth by now.
