Luckily, things worked out with the leadership... I hope.
And why exactly are you hoping?
If he doesn't suit your needs, just find someone else... there's absolutely no need to start making up diagnoses for him. 😉

Some women are built that way, some aren't. Some crave it constantly, some like it occasionally, and some don't want it at all... But seriously, where have you guys been living, a convent? Have you really never met a man in your entire lives until age twenty-five, or are you just terrified of the harsh reality that men actually enjoy sex?? 😁

Let's break this down for a second...😉
John Price said:If it was just about him being hooked on sex, I honestly wouldn't care that much... according to some studies, those guys supposedly live longer and stay in better shape...😉
But it's the other stuff that really gets to me... If someone is having sex every single day but can still spend hours scrolling through porn—and I don't mean movies, I mean amateur clips, spy cams, and all that... is that even normal? Like I’ve asked before:
Where do we draw the line between enjoying porn as entertainment and actually being addicted? Is there even a boundary?
John Price said:At what point does watching porn stop being just entertainment and start becoming an addiction? Is there actually a line?
cosmicridge5 said:That’s exactly why I was asking you to walk me through what the actual threshold is...😁 Like, does it actually take up most of your day and mess with your daily routine? What does that look like in practice?😁
cosmicridge5 said:That’s why I was begging you to explain just how far this actually goes... 😁 Is he really tied up with it most of the day, like it's actually interfering with his daily life? How does that even look in practice? 😁
John Price said:How much is it actually interfering with his daily life? I mean, is the interference just him fudging the numbers so he doesn't get fired the second his boss realizes what's going on?
John Price said:A few months ago, when he had internet in his room, he basically occupied the place most of the day. Not sure exactly how many hours... crimsongull20 used to laugh about us not having internet in the apartment because of it, but honestly, it’s the only thing that actually works.
cosmicridge5 said:... did you guys actually talk about it? You know, without the whole hysterical meltdown thing, just being friendly? What’s his actual take on all this? 🙂
crimsongull20 said:If you really want to be proactive about prevention, maybe just gouge both his eyes out.
Sarah Davis7 said:hey Joe, how would you feel if your girlfriend started watching porn and masturbating after you left? like, would that turn you on... especially if she just absolutely loves sex...
John Price said:A few months ago, when he actually had internet in his room, he’d basically occupy the connection all day long. I honestly don't know exactly how many hours we're talking about, but it was constant. Maybe crimsongull20 was laughing at us because we couldn't use the Wi-Fi in the rest of the house, but hey, it was kind of the only way to keep things under control!
So now that the internet is gone, he's heading down to the local public library just to stay "up to date"???

Now that the internet is gone, he just heads to the local public library to stay "up to date," right???
Same deal at work—he grabs any chance he can get. How much is this actually messing with his life? Or is "messing with his life" just a way of saying he'd be fired instantly if his boss realized what he was doing?
briskjackal5 said:Look, don't lecture him then. Just let the guy connect to the home internet.😁
John Price said:It’s not even about the actual sex all the time, it’s more about the porn aspect.
In my last relationship, I used to daydream about trying out new, exciting spots, but honestly, everything just ended up being in the bedroom. He is the complete opposite! He actually makes all those fantasies happen—elevators, parks, the beach... I love sex just as much as he does, but what really gets to me is this endless, insatiable craving he has for pornography...
jadetinker85 said:Man, that guy you're talking about is seriously out there. But honestly, if he doesn't actually want to quit on his own, there isn't a prayer of it happening.
