thanks everyone for all the help 🙂
I ended up picking up some figures at a Target in the suburbs—it wasn't exactly the specific collection I was hunting for, since they only had a couple of funny ones on hand, but they were decent enough for what I needed

I’ve been hunting everywhere, but I just can't find the right one.😢

If you're still looking, here's a few...

Help me out here... I’m feeling a bit too lazy to scroll through everything myself... how many pounds of assorted cookies should I order per person?
And what about cake?? I’ve got a cake coming, but honestly, I have no clue how much people actually eat. Back home in the South, we usually just break a big dessert tray into little pieces for everyone to grab 😍, so how many people can I actually serve with one "standard" cake?
Thanks

Look, Linda Williams97, those cake designs from your last two posts are just painful to look at. I mean, the ones you posted before were actually decent. 👍Exactly my vibe.

I picked this one for my cake ages ago😍 unless I change my mind again, because the one Linda Williams97 just posted is so incredibly tempting.

Personally, I’m leaning toward the second one. There’s just an elegance to it that the first one lacks...

By the way, regarding those cakes I posted in my last few messages—they were made by a boutique bakery in New York City that specializes in high-end wedding cakes. Every single design you see is a true one-of-a-kind creation. It takes an immense amount of time to execute that level of detail, but the results speak for themselves. Plus, they taste incredible; at least from my own experience, the quality is top-tier.

To me, they look totally kitschy—like something straight out of a small-town farmhouse.

I find myself wondering if anyone might be able to point me toward some truly exceptional bakeries that specialize in decadent cakes and pastries.
If you happen to have any wonderful experiences to share...

If you're looking for something a little different, I'd say check out Vanilla over at the Mall of America in New York City. Maybe it'll hit the spot.

Are you seriously suggesting that the quality of my photos is actually that subpar? 🤣

I decided to include that one gore torte because I recognize how much effort goes into making them, even if they aren't exactly my cup of tea personally. I wanted to give them credit where it's due. My actual style leans much more toward the other things I post around here; those early entries at the top of this page represent something entirely different from my usual aesthetic.

Hey everyone! I’m new here—hope I’m doing everything right. My wedding just wrapped up, and we went with a total Black Forest theme for the cake:

I hope you guys dig it. My husband and I dressed up as little honeybees, and every single cake featured adorable forest animals—hedgehogs, bunnies, squirrels, mice, you name it. The frosting was actually marzipan, which sounds intense, but it was delicious!!!! For flavors, we did strawberry, Hershey's chocolate, pineapple rum, and tiramisu.
