There was a whole spread of homemade desserts too, and still... total silence. Nothing.

Wait, really?? Mind if I ask which restaurant? Because honestly—every client I’ve had for weddings over in suburban Atlanta who actually asked about it told me they need an official receipt and full documentation first.🙂

Monica makes these killer little tartlets $4.00... You might even be able to score a discount if you're ordering in bulk... Honestly, her cakes are absolutely top-tier. 🙂

I’m really curious to hear your thoughts on this idea. I know it can end up being a bit more expensive—some specialty ones go anywhere from $10 to $5.00 each—but I think it’s such a fun concept and everyone will be totally blown away 😍 ...
Has anyone else actually gone this route for their big day? Hehe 🙂))

A price range of $10-$$5.00 isn't actually that bad. A standard wedding cake usually starts at $5.00 per person anyway... plus, the best part about cupcakes is you can pick different flavors for every tier
.

If you really want that "cake cutting" moment, just have a small single cake on top for the two of you, then fill out the rest of the stand with cupcakes...
Just make sure to order a few extra, just in case. You never know, because wedding cakes almost never end up being the exact right size for the guest count 😉

I'm planning on doing cupcakes 😍, though not like the ones in the photo sitting in little cups—more like actual mini cakes. I think people call those cupcakes too even if they aren't strictly that, and then there will be a standard cutting cake on top. 🙂

Heyyyy! Oh my gosh, I am seriously so excited about this... hehe. I’m already dreaming about getting my hands on some of your amazing cakes! 🙂))) Honestly, I’ve already reached out to a few local bakeries around town to check things out, and they gave me some really great feedback... hehe 🙂))

Something like this 😍

Those are just mini cakes 😁 a cupcake is basically a muffin with frosting or sugar decor on it 🙂

Greetings. My apologies if this inquiry was recently addressed, but does anyone happen to know the current price point for those mini pastries over at Vince's?

Furthermore, has anyone here had any direct experience with the baked goods from Bunce in Long Grove? I am particularly interested in the balance between quality and portion size. 🙂

Vince is overpriced. If I recall someone mentioning they go for about $10 a piece—there are plenty of cheaper, better options out there, you just have to know where 😁

😲 Good grief, that seems incredibly steep to me! Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for somewhere that offers high quality without the exorbitant price tag? 😕 I’m looking at areas around Chicago, maybe some spots in Suburban Atlanta or even out toward Long Grove.

Here’s what Inna’s looked like

Carol Richardson15 said:Check out these little cakes we made, also handcrafted by Monica! 😁
They were honestly so delicious, and my guests absolutely loved them—I think it was because they’d never seen anything quite like them before! 😉

So, this is Monica's bakery over in Samobor
(if you watched MasterChef, she was featured in an episode once—she’s basically the Swiss pastry expert)
Hers went for about $3.25, but honestly, just ask them for their current rates

We went there ourselves and picked up a four-flavor cake—we just showed them the photo from the site, so my advice is to grab a picture of what you want and show it to them when you go. You can pay after the wedding with a card and all that easy stuff.

123 Main St, Samobor
10430 Samobor
No phone numbers, please. May
Not sure why their website is down🤷

I'm sure other girls will jump in with info on different bakeries—there should still be some affordable, high-quality spots out there.

Look, those aren't cupcakes—they're more like mini cakes. Not sure about the size, though.

I found myself completely captivated by this approach to wedding cakes... honestly, I’m blown away. I think I might actually pull something similar off for my own big day next year—assuming, of course, that nobody decides to beat me to it and steal the idea before then. 😁

That looks way too good... honestly, we just have a bit too many guests coming over for us. I really wish I'd thought of this sooner and checked in with Monica to see if she had a better deal on them. Maybe I'll swing by her place to grab some for a baby's christening later on! 🙂with those tiny little little toppers 😁

We stopped by Monica's place about a month and a half before the wedding😁
