Since I’ve sent several follow-ups and reports and absolutely NOBODY—and I mean zero people in charge—is reacting or even replying, I’m just going to lay my cards on the table here: What is actually happening with the moderation over at the Edge of Science subforums? It feels like moderator BAT Kol has basically checked out from moderating entirely, and Hulk just pops in every once in a while.

Regarding the issues we’ve had before, the whole situation was already MENTIONED, but since things played out the way they did (let's not stir the pot and just keep things chill), it looks like the moderators gave a total "green light" to a certain user (the one we've already discussed here) who showed up with nothing but bad intentions. This person has been allowed to completely derail any meaningful discussion within the Edge of Science forums.
The whole point of this area is to host a space where you can expect anything due to its niche nature—ideas that aren't typical for other US message boards, where some people represent alternative views and others stick to scientific ones. But time and time again, this one specific guy (the user bonecrusher, who was already brought up in the NRZ moderation thread) turns everything into an absurdity. He insults people, creates fake accounts to talk to himself without consequence, and trolls threads with his own private nonsense, sometimes even posting while clearly under the influence of alcohol and arguing with himself mid-post! Everyone else trying to have a real conversation—even if just to boost their post count or reply to him—ends up getting sucked into a massive argument with this guy instead.
The absolute peak of this nonsense can be seen in the thread he started himself (the Titanic theme, where he tried to push a theory using two fake photos claiming the Titanic was actually a different ship). He threw out this wild assumption (only to later admit he hadn't even read the book the idea came from!), and after his "theory" was totally debunked, he started claiming he was only on the forum and in that specific thread to hit 1,000 posts before leaving, and that he didn't even care about the topic. And sure enough, in just four months, he racked up about 600 posts, over 400 of which were either completely off-topic or just straight-up "playing dumb."
Despite all the reports, nobody in charge is doing anything about it.
Honestly, when people start posting such nonsense in specific threads, it’s almost better if they don't post at all.
We're talking about claims like using cement, concrete, and rebar to build the Great Pyramid, literal cooking and pouring of granite and limestone in ancient Egypt (with zero evidence provided), treating thought processes as if they were "living organisms," blaming ice rain for the Tunguska explosion, taking photos on the Moon with digital cameras back in 1969, constant trolling via personal/ad hominem attacks against other users, and insulting forum members (some might have missed the subtle jabs in his posts) until every thread becomes a breeding ground for increasingly rude language. Not to mention the notorious habit of quoting text incorrectly... and it just keeps going.

Not a single report gets a response; the posts just sit there, and it’s a struggle to follow these "debates" where there's less and less substance and more and more nothingness.

I really want to know: is there any chance this can be fixed? Can we finally get back to the old style of moderation where we had two moderators—one focusing on the scientific side and the other on the alternative side? We need that balance back, along with the respect for the community rules we used to see on sites like Reddit or other major US forums.
Because right now, this is a total disaster... 🙂👎👎

I’m right there with you on this. Honestly, the subforum has become such an unreadable, tedious slog lately that I’ve pretty much lost the motivation to even click on it anymore. Consider me officially backing the request to actually do something about this mess and turn things around.

What’s even the point of having rules if they’re being ignored left and right while the moderators just sit there twiddling their thumbs?
You’ve got people blatantly creating clone accounts to bypass bans and then jumping right back into the same threads with those fake profiles, and there isn't even a slap on the wrist...
It's an absolute joke!

I honestly don't get why Jason Grant gets such a free pass when he goes after certain users in these threads, tossing out insults that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic or even basic human decency.
It seems like his posts just get scrubbed here and there, while anyone who actually calls him out using that same tone gets slapped with a ban. He just storms in, wrecks perfectly good discussions, and nobody does a thing about it. 🤷

So, what level of discourse are we operating at now? Is this just how we’re all talking to each other from here on out?

Jason Grant said:Watch out when that horse farts if you haven't pulled your head out of its ass yet. Then brace yourself, because the toolmaker is coming to shove it down your throat again.🤣🤣

Jason Grant said:That's why I told him he better open wide, otherwise he's going to get hit hard and fast.

Jason Grant said:Why do you think? If some horse farted right in your face and the toolmaker screwed you twenty times over, maybe you'd start thinking more clearly. It's not like we haven't already completely wrecked ExxonMobil anyway.☕

Out of his roughly 4.4k posts, about 3k follow this exact pattern—even when he’s trying to be direct. Honestly, one of the main reasons I even started this thread was because nobody seemed to care about the formal complaints. And let’s call a spade a spade: this isn't just some "unique personality trait." It’s clearly a total lack of basic manners, fueled by a lot of suppressed aggression and frustration—maybe even something more malicious. But hey... if you take just seven days to scan through a fraction of his posts, you'll get a pretty clear picture of the whole "man and his works." If you're interested, that is. 🍿

Just because a post gets deleted doesn't mean the user isn't being blacklisted. The rules apply to everyone equally, and for the last time, stop replying to rule-breaking posts—just hit the report button.

I'm not lurking on this forum 24/7. I spend maybe an hour a day here at most, and honestly, I'd rather spend even less.

Just looking at how much he's losing his mind lately—and for how long now—it’s pretty obvious how much teeth those sanctions actually have. Spoiler alert: not many.
Look, my criticism isn't aimed at you personally. I know you’re coming from a good place, and I’d assume that as a moderator, your power to actually hand out punishments is pretty limited anyway. At the end of the day, you’re just volunteering your time here, while there are people out there getting paid a full salary to do absolutely nothing.

I totally get that you aren't! Honestly, it’s only natural to have a life outside of this forum, and I actually really empathize with you on that front. You’ve gotta have your own space, right? And seriously, props to you for even wanting to take this on—it’s definitely no easy task!
Honestly, the whole issue with people not replying to posts is that if you aren't actually engaging, you might as well just step away from the forum entirely. It’s a slippery slope—once one person starts drifting off-topic, then the second and third follow suit, and suddenly the whole thread turns into a joke. Before you know it, the original topic is completely lost, and there’s zero incentive left for anyone to bother responding. Why even waste your precious time? It's so much easier to just sit back and watch the endless cycle of "post after post" without actually contributing anything meaningful. At the end of the day, it really boils down to a handful of specific characters—obvious trolls who are basically just using this space as a punching bag for their own frustrations. That's really all there is to it!

Look, everyone here means well, but there's a catch...

The reality is, you are solely responsible for all of Jason Grant's nonsense. He behaves exactly the way you permit him to behave. All that trolling, the insults, the blatant disrespect, and those vulgar outbursts—you can trace it all directly back to your version of "moderation."

So, tell me, are you actually planning to take any real action regarding his behavior?

I did what I felt was necessary. I don't work to moderate based on people's whims.

This isn't exactly groundbreaking stuff from you, is it? Honestly, it's pretty embarrassing coming from someone in a moderator role.
Maybe you should seriously consider stepping down, because let's be real—this isn't the first time you've turned around and complained about your own subforum. You're the common denominator here, and frankly, it's your lack of moderation that's the actual problem.

What’s actually the point of reporting anything if nothing ever changes? It feels like obvious rule-breaking is just brushed under the rug with excuses about how things are "outdated."
Take Ibrahim, for example—his signature basically calls anyone who disagrees with him an idiot or a sellout, yet nobody lifts a finger against him.!?
And then you look at Bonecrusher, Jason Grant, and the special treatment they get... it's honestly pathetic!

Alright, let me say this loud and clear so it doesn't just get lost in the shadows of this forum—we need to make sure we don't lose Jason Grant's incredible contributions to our discussions! Do the moderators honestly believe that the only way to deal with someone being completely out of line is to report every single post? It feels like they're just trying to lecture some totally unhinged individual (honestly, I'm not even sure what you call someone who writes stuff like this) to tell them how to behave. This isn't just a lack of manners; it's straight-up psychological warfare.

His "contributions" over the last 24 hours:

Thread: The Earth is a Flat Disc:

Thread: Landing on the moon:

Thread: sun pyramid:

Thread: living water.

Is there a single thread where this guy actually offers a reasoned argument, stays on topic, or even follows the basic rules of the forum? Or should everyone else just pack up and leave so he can have his own little space to rant whatever he wants?

Oh, look who it is. Brenda Gonzalez12, why are you even showing up in the alternative discussion? It’s always the same thing with you—just constant spitting on anything labeled "alternative," despite what Ryan Gomez4 explicitly mentioned about how that isn't the case.
It's a textbook example.
Have you ever actually contributed a single constructive thought to the "living water" thread?
No, Brenda Gonzalez12, you haven't. You just spend your time inflating your own ego and dragging us into off-topic nonsense because your main hobby seems to be picking fights with other users, doesn't it, Brenda Gonzalez12?
Of course it does.
Take the "sun pyramid" thread—once again, not one constructive post from you, just endless bickering and destructive comments designed to tear down every alternative topic we discuss.
So, Brenda Gonzalez12, get off my back, especially with those insults about "upbringing" or "psychopathy"—keep that garbage to yourself. The rest of us aren't obligated to sit through your outbursts that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand.
Go find some random chat room or something and go at it there.

If I break the rules, I'll take my punishment or my ban; that's my business, not yours.
Focus on your own issues instead of obsessing over mine.
Just look at my last post in the "raw food" section of the alternative board; even the other users there are giving me credit.
Picking on people isn't really your strong suit, is it, Brenda Gonzalez12?

I guess you could say my posts basically boil down to me "debunking"—or maybe I should be more polite and call it "correcting with simple facts"—all that nonsense that nobody with even an ounce of common sense would actually label an "alternative perspective." To me, having an alternative view means actually using your head and applying some logic. It’s about engaging your brain, and frankly, using it a whole lot more than most people do, because true alternative thinking requires a level of critical thought that goes way beyond just following the standard crowd. Hey everyone! I was just sitting here thinking—what if we look at this from a different angle? I mean, let's talk about some possible second options or even some totally ALTERNATIVE solutions! If you want to make a point, back it up with an actual argument, a hard fact, or some kind of real evidence. Honestly, all this rambling about water screaming inside radiator pipes, pharaohs flying through liquid metal, nine-pronged crystals made of living water, or those "undiscovered known facts" (yeah, that's definitely your finest moment right there)—none of that counts. It’s not an alternative to reality; it’s just pure nonsense.
Look, I really think Ryan Gomez4 can still offer a totally different perspective on these topics over at the Alternative board. Even just acting as a regular user like the rest of us, he’s got that ability to look at things from a unique angle!
Look, let’s be real here—as a moderator, she doesn't have a free pass to act however she wants. Her role is pretty straightforward: manage the threads and actually stick to the forum and sub-forum rules just like the rest of us do. And honestly? She does that. Most of the time, she’s actually being way too lenient with certain discussions. But there comes a point where it becomes an issue. When someone is consistently, post after post, ignoring thread titles, tossing around insults, and just being straight-up disrespectful to people... well, if those reports are being ignored or if she isn't stepping in herself, then someone needs to give her a heads-up. It’s just common sense! Now, don't get me wrong—I totally get how this works, and I’m definitely not out to get her or judge her. I don't have anything against her personally, nor do I have any beef with her performance as a moderator. I just think we need to keep things on track!

Do I have any constructive posts on those topics? Honestly, who knows! Maybe I do, maybe I don't. I definitely have plenty of them, especially when it comes to discussions about the sun pyramid. But man, those threads always turn into a free-for-all where people start arguing about absolutely everything under the sun. Then, out of nowhere, someone like you swoops in and completely derails the whole conversation with all that negativity and insults. Suddenly, instead of actually talking about anything meaningful, we’re stuck spending the next twenty pages just dealing with you and trying to respond to your nonsense!

Look, I’m going to quote you directly so there’s no confusion later or anyone claiming, "Wait, I didn't say that!" This is about your public reputation, plain and simple. Jason Grant, the aggression you're throwing around—that style where you just insult people and tear them down, or tell others to get lost—is exactly why this was written in the first place. Honestly, if you look at your history, like 80% of your posts follow that exact pattern. If everyone actually stuck to the rules, you wouldn't be getting away with so much half the time! And no, I’m definitely not the only one calling you out. If you take a look around, you'll see someone is constantly "clashing" with you on pretty much every single thread. Someone always finds you annoying, and your response is always the same aggressive comeback. Maybe the common denominator here isn't everyone else, but actually you? Because the people you're fighting with aren't clones of me; they are real individuals who have every right to participate in the discussion within the actual topics. They aren't trolling the threads—which is exactly what you're doing.

Oh, sure, you mean those folks who claim they can cure cancer just by eating carrots—it’s just that "nobody knows about it yet" because "secret big pharma lobbies" suppressed the science? Or the people posting stuff that basically falls under "practicing medicine without a license"? You know, the ones giving advice to tell people to "ditch their doctor's prescriptions" and switch to some specific diet just because one person out of a thousand survived?
Honestly, thanks, but no thanks. I’ll pass on that kind of praise. Look, I’m not saying there aren't smart people or good advice to be found in those circles, but if *those* kinds of people started singing my praises, I’d actually start getting worried about myself!

Jason Grant said:If you want to actually grasp the complexities of this issue, you need to pick up some books. For instance, look at how Jews and Russians lived through two centuries of history, as chronicled by the writer Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
That is precisely why so many people remain completely oblivious to the actual state of affairs unfolding across the globe. They wander through their lives entirely disconnected from the underlying currents of history, failing to grasp the gravity of what is truly happening to our world.

VeThe Bolshevik program was essentially just an Old Testament agenda repackaged for the modern era. But there is more to the story than mere ideology. Jews were everywhere; one contemporary observer, quoting Solzhenitsyn, noted that in many influential, ruling committees, one couldn't help but notice members possessing "caricature-like Jewish facial features." It was precisely these individuals who sought to smear everything tied to American history, the American church, and American culture. Consequently, it comes as no surprise that Jews were met with a massive wave of public resentment. They "rose up en masse and became conspicuous in places where they had never been before." And we must remember why they hadn't been there previously: they had been systematically denied basic rights, including freedom of movement, residency, property ownership, and much more. In reality, Solzhenitsyn argues that the truth lies in the fact that the Bolsheviks felt a desperate need for "unconditionally loyal executors." They knew exactly where to find them. Therefore, a significant portion—perhaps even the majority—of this phenomenon can be explained by Jewish nature and the Jewish character itself. Jews occupied the highest and most sensitive positions within the "living nerve" of military communism. By controlling the military, food supplies, and foreign affairs—while enforcing brutal requisitioning regimes and playing a pivotal role in "destroying the clergy"—they effectively became the "stranglers of the nation." "They lost themselves; they were overcome by hubris," writes Solzhenitsyn. Jews completely co-opted American culture, historiography, film, music, theater, and literature, falling under the illusion that this was their own country. Solzhenitsyn does not view this massive Jewish influx into these fields as a contribution, but rather as a conquest. While some Jews found themselves at the helm of the Gulag system, a large number of Jews were simultaneously imprisoned within those very same camps; yet, due to their status, they enjoyed certain privileges over other inmates, making life "easier for them than for others."

If you connect the dots between how they control both the USA and Europe, you will finally realize that we are dealing with the exact same group of people. They simply change their masks to suit the occasion—one day they’re posing as communists, the next as Republicans, Democrats, or liberals. It is all a facade. In every developed nation, the strings are being pulled by the same small circle of individuals. They weave intricate webs of intrigue to either dismantle or artificially inflate national economies to maintain a specific balance of power. Their ultimate goal is to sow deep domestic divisions while keeping absolute executive power firmly gripped in their own hands.

Here is another fresh dose of pure depravity straight from Alternative; let’s put it on display—a little tribute to our dignified moderator.
