Reading through some of the threads on here about life in the States, a thought just hit me...
The idea is this: I want to hear from those of you who spent years flying solo (or perhaps stuck in those fleeting, month-long flings😁), but have finally found something real—a stable relationship, actual love, and all that good stuff. Please, share your stories to offer a little comfort to those of us still out here waiting in the wings. 😉

Oh, sure, go ahead and laugh... I’m a lonely heart myself, though I’ve mostly just lost the energy to whine to everyone else about how isolated I feel.😬 (Which, let's be honest, doesn't mean the loneliness isn't still there.)

So... bombs away!😛

Being in a relationship is honestly such a scam...
Are you feeling down? 😎

I was over four years into this journey before anything happened. It just wasn't there. That specific click simply didn't occur with anyone. Later, I was in a relationship that lasted two and a half years, only to meet someone five months after we split who was undeniably the one. We’ve been together for about fourteen months now. 🙂

Wait, what are you even talking about? A year and two months? What kind of math is that? Are you trying to squeeze a whole year into two months or something? Is he working on an oil rig or something where you only see him for a bit? Seriously, why are you being so random? You acting like it's still New Year's Eve or something? 😛

Is he working on a cargo ship or something where you only see him for two months? Why are you being so irrational? Are you still living in a fantasy world? 😛

🤣 😂 Absolute nonsense. Even Coca-Cola isn't a reliable company anymore. I mean a year and two months. 😁

I was flying solo back in 2002, but I haven't been 👍

I’m perfectly fine flying solo, honestly. It doesn't really bother me at all. If I’m being totally honest, there was this one night where I was heading to bed and just felt that pang—you know, when you're wishing there was a womanly presence next to you in bed, but specifically someone to connect with, not just someone for a quick hookup. But looking back over the last year or so, that was really the only single day I actually felt that void, so... yeah.

I've been flying solo for almost five months now... and honestly, I miss it almost every single day. 👎

The whole point of this thread was for people who AREN'T solo to chime in and give us the lonely ones some hope. You’re just being a nuisance. 😁 😉

Where has everyone gone? I'm riding solo too. Honestly, it doesn't bother me one bit. Quite the opposite, actually.🙂

- If you had hung around here longer, you’d realize plenty of people on this forum feel the exact same way. But hey, speak for yourself. I don't really need to hear how great life is for everyone else—it just makes me feel even worse.☕>

I’ve been flying solo for a few years now, and honestly, I was single for quite a while before that too, so... yeah, just keep your fingers crossed, I guess.
Nothing’s ever a guarantee when it comes to things changing; sometimes it’s just pure luck.

Brown Acid said:- If you had just stuck around a little longer, you’d realize there’s actually a decent crowd of people here doing exactly that, but hey, I guess you can only speak for yourself... personally, I have zero interest in hearing about how great everyone else's life is; honestly, it just makes me feel even more pathetic.☕

But let's be real, you're a walking cautionary tale, serving as a grim reminder to the rest of us of what happens when you finally cave to that crushing weight of depression and isolation.😬
