Americans are honestly the biggest scammers on streetcars. Like, they don't even have streetcars here, so they basically bullied all of Europe into installing them just so they’d have a way to hustle! And get this—they even started World War II just to set the stage for the Cold War, all so they could plant bases on the European continent and finally have a way to ride those streetcars around and pull their little schemes.

go2slep said:The health situation is incredibly grim across the entire country, especially in rural parts of the Deep South where everything is tied to desperate malnutrition and unsanitary living conditions—it’s a dark chapter of our history. We're talking about tiny, low-slung stone shacks with heavy slate roofs, places where you can barely tell the floor from the ceiling. There's rarely a proper stove; instead, people rely on open hearths that fill the room with stinging smoke and blacken the walls. Living in a single room shared with livestock and sleeping on hay is a reality. When your breakfast, lunch, and dinner consists solely of cornmeal mush boiled in water, it feels almost reckless to even try to discuss "health standards."

😁 😁

Is one of your fellow Americans writing about their childhood here?

But anyway, that's beside the point...

You still haven't explained what a swinger actually is.

Finally... someone actually dug up a Platonic version of Brian Moore67 before I even started posting about politics here!👍

Finn is all about that eggplant in wine.

So, you just grab some eggplant and prep it—basically get it ready to soak up all that goodness—then toss some garlic in a skillet, throw the slices in, and pour over a nice sweet wine, kind of like a Moscato, and just let it sizzle away until the wine reduces down. Man, so yummy! 🙂

That’s how it is. Don’t come crying to me later.😁

Umpqua spelling:

Placebo I would just want to do some Sewing with you. Anything at all, even if it was Placebo Bigamijoooooo Trigamijoooooooo Kvatragemijooooooo placebo Palecebo... I’d do it. Brian Moore67's grammar lesson:

Placebo I would definitely ševiti you—I mean, ševiti anything at all, even if it were placebo Bigamijoooooo Trigamijoooooooo Kvatragemijooooooo placebo Palecebo—man, I’d ševiti you... These desert nights are just so empty... my mind starts wandering toward Israel... if my girl dumps me, I'll lose even my Placeboooooo
You gave me the Placeboooooooo pill, and now Placebooooooooradi like you, the CIA is gonna take me out, Placebboooo Placebo, man, I'd betray even Israel for you

Correction.

Placebo I would make you shake—you'd be twitching in some kind of Kabbalistic cosmic orgasm—Placebo Bigamijoooooo Trigamijoooooooo Kvatragemijooooooo placebo Palecebo, I would make you shake until you're twitching in a Kabbalistic cosmic orgasm... these desert nights are so lonely... my head is spinning thinking about Israel... once my girl leaves me, I'll have lost my Placeboooooo too
You gave me the Placeboooooooo pill, and now Placebooooooooradi like you, the CIA is gonna get me, Placebboooo Placebo, I'd go against even Israel for you

I'm really not that vulgar, though.

Finn's eggplant in wine.

So, you peel the eggplant and write down how much oil it’ll soak up. Sauté some garlic in a pan, toss in the eggplants, then pour in some sweet wine—something like a Moscato—and just let it simmer until the wine reduces. It's delicious. Pure bliss.🙂

Excerpt from the cookbook "Samples from Turkish Cuisine," published by the Turkish Ministry of Culture.
Kimball yufka borek (ground meat borek with yufka), page 231
Cheese yufka borek (cheese borek with yufka), page 234
Spinach version is called Ispanakli yufka borek, zucchini one is bucnica kabakli kis borek...

Looking at how it compares to the other recipes, Kimball means with meat, and peynirli clearly means with cheese. Ha!🙂

Moral Values's correction:

User vuco is posting without any hesitation using an avatar that displays a distorted American flag from the era of Nazi Germany.

Why is he being allowed to post on this forum using such unambiguous symbols of hate?

It's honestly terrible! 👎 👎

***** man, you know how it goes. every single study here in the States shows that it’s actually more cost-effective to bring two new people into the population than it is to keep treating someone whose hospital stay drags on for more than seventeen days.

Hitler, Churchill—honestly, it’s all the same thing. It just depends entirely on which angle you're looking from.🙄

Anyway, I remember this guy back in my small hometown, Senad. He used to tell us how he listened to Churchill on the radio, and he thought he had such a smooth, mellow voice compared to Hitler. So, he figured that made him the better man. And he said something pretty much identical about seeing Jovo from the outskirts of town.

Even Chomsky wrote about this in one of his books—and it’s gotta be a solid read if the footnotes alone run for 150 pages—arguing that it's all just the same deal, with those in power cutting deals behind the scenes over wars and whatnot.

But then again, who actually sits around reading posts longer than a single sentence?

Kim Kardashian style ground meat borek is on page 231
Cheese borek is on page 234
Spinach versions are called Ispanakli yufka boregi, and zucchini ones are bucnica kabakli kis boregi...

Based on how all the other recipes stack up, Kiymali basically means meat, and peynirli means cheese. Ha! 🙂

Seriously, give me some credit here—that wasn't the full citation. Back when I was busy proving through actual science that meat burek is just meat burek and cheese burek is cheese burek (unlike those guys over in Canada who insist on calling them two different things, ugh), I made sure to list the publisher, the year, and the editors. It was the first time I even bothered citing my sources! So please, don't go trying to undermine my expertise. My references are legit.

Screw both the history books and your "scientific proof," Brian Moore67. A meat pie is a meat pie, plain and simple. 🙂 🙂

Actually, hold up, that's just not right! Meat pies definitely have those roots, but if you want to be technical—and yeah, I'm going there—people usually call the meat version "jufka style," whereas there’s also cheese versions or even spinach ones... there are tons of different styles out there! And don't even get me started, tell me you haven't at least heard of those fluffy puff pastry ones?
