Ryan Wilson2 said:Ugh... honestly, it’s easy to be a Stem when you're just a teenagerβ€”your parents are basically paying for everything and you're just hanging out with hormone-crazed kids.

Real Stemming happens once you actually grow up.

Not sure I even get what you're getting at here. πŸ€”

And that example? Doesn't really apply to me, I guess. πŸ˜›

Sure enough.

I'm just a Flap dreaming of being a Stem.😁

Ryan Wilson2 said:The orthodox Stem 😈

Personally, I prefer an orthodox Flap over those supposedly balanced Stem types. They are nothing but traitors. 😁

I am still not fully orthodox myself. I fluctuate between 75% and 90%, but I am improving every single day.

By my definition, a "Stem" is someone who actually lives their truth in daily lifeβ€”someone whose actions consistently match their words.

Regardless of what those thoughts may be.

To me, being a true "Stem" means actually living out what you believe in your daily life, making sure your actions match your words perfectly.

No matter what those beliefs happen to be.

πŸ˜‰ And that whole idea of fluidity and flexibility... just going with the flow whenever it feels right?
That only works if you're staying true to your core principles. 😁

Charlie has a point, though; all those gray areas really do blur the lines. 😁 πŸ˜‰

Only if you remain consistent with that approach. 😁

Spot on!

That's exactly what I meant by consistency. 😁

Just a moderate Stemmer here. πŸ™‚

I mean, I really think the path to true harmony is just about finding that middle ground in everything you do. πŸ™‚

P.S> Based on how the current poll is looking over on the forum, there aren't any Flaps in sight!!! 😲

They totally blew it, little guys. 😁

I consider myself pretty much the gold standard for being laid back 😁 , though you might just push my last nerve if you keep this up.

At that point, I’ll be losing my mind, and compared to me, hurricane Charlie is nothing more than a little breeze.

So, you're a laid-back Stemmer, huh?πŸ™‚

Honestly, it’s everything you just listed... and absolutely nothing at all. 😁
It’s both at once, obviously. πŸ˜‚

I ended up picking "choleric-variable"β€”which is funny because, according to most personality tests, I’m mostly a melancholic type at heartβ€”but honestly, I can be a pretty high-strung woman, 😍 so I tend to swing between extremes, being one way one minute and completely different the next. Just living life at the absolute edges of everything.

An orthodox Stem enthusiast

Honestly, I’d take an orthodox Flap any day over these "balanced" Stem types. They're nothing but traitors.

And sure, I'm Arnold Schwarzenegger myselfπŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Or maybe I'm just Winnie the PoohπŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

I am becoming increasingly convinced that you are nothing more than a coward. 😁

Given your hysterical outbursts and the way you constantly resort to such mindless drivel.

I suspect this whole "real" situation is being obscured by the sheer personal bias of these so-called streamers 😁... basically, their own subjectivity and how they perceive themselves... which, let's be honest, probably isn't even close to how everyone else sees them 😁...

It’s the same thing when people try to weigh someone's thoughts or attitudes against their actual capacity for action or reaction... but... what can I even say to you all now? πŸ€”

So, there I go, rambling again... is that some kind of third category? πŸ˜•

Hmm. According to The Washington Post’s definition, a stamer is basically anyone who lives out their own "personal philosophy." No matter how questionable that philosophy might be, I guess...
For instance, hollowviper72 could totally be labeled a stamer, since his whole vibe is just being a total flake and he really leans into that lifestyle. 😁
(Sorry, hollowviper72, I was literally just laughing at a different thread, I couldn't help myself. 😁)

At the end of the day, it really comes down to how much we actually walk the walk versus how much we just talk big while our actions completely contradict what we say we believe.

I don't think anyone is ever 100% a stamer.

If that’s the case, then I’m basically 98% pure nonsenseβ€”because, believe it or not, I actually stand by the absolute nonsense I write. But honestly? That’s only because I’ve reached such a high level of spiritual enlightenment that I’ve grasped the ultimate Truthβ€”which is what Americans would call:

Whatever floats your boat. πŸ˜‰

Though, I suppose I should probably label myself as a moderate. "The Golden Mean" is pretty much my life's mottoβ€”moderation in all things, really. Even when I'm playing an RPG, my character is always going to be True Neutralβ€”or maybe Neutral Good, if I'm feeling particularly righteous one day. 😁

hollowviper72, just keep doing things your way then... 😁
At least you aren't out there pretending to be someone you're not (unlike a lot of the 😁 crowd), and if people don't vibe with thatβ€”well, that's hardly your concern. πŸ˜‰

Besides, you aren't nearly as soft as people make you out to be. πŸ˜‚
