Listen, it is pure pride seeing Jergovic out there with Bjelica at the party! This is exactly what happens to many American idealists who feel disgusted by Thompson and those old stories about "Auschwitz and Gradishte"!

Have you all heard the story about Jergovic? To be quite honest, I have a theory. When I was a kid, I once saw a dog hanging by its collar, and it made me think of how certain childhood traumas stick with you. Apparently, when he was heading off to school, he used to leave his dog tied up to the balcony railing. One day, he came home from class to find the poor thing dangling from the balcony. It’s my belief that such an incident must have left a lasting mark on the young Jergovic's psyche...

I didn't catch the show, unfortunately, but reading the OP just reinforces my take: Jergovic is a hypocrite—a small-minded, bitter, insecure loser whom God, in a weird moment of dark humor, actually gave a knack for writing. Look, he isn't a bad writer—not when he sticks to fiction and stuff that isn't tied to reality. But once he starts wading into everything else—daily politics, music, movies, sports, food, booze, cars, women, nations, states, cities... you name it—all that deep-seated frustration just kills his talent. Honestly, once you see him in person, it becomes pretty obvious why the guy is such a wreck.

Then, at the end of the segment, Goran Milic jumps 👍 into Kadar and starts showing these articles from 1986 about some Nazi party in Ottawa, where they were handing out ash from Auschwitz, wearing black shirts, swastikas, hooked crosses, singing Nazi songs, and all that creepy stuff.

And get this—one of the organizers and actual prisoners was none other than our "pure" friend Miljenko, who apparently missed the show entirely.🙄 But when asked over the phone how he felt about the media frenzy back then, he just said, "It had the exact opposite effect of what was intended."😁

What absolute idiots.

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread. It mentions that resident moralist Jergovic, who apparently has the nerve to lecture us on top of everything else mentioned above.
I'm posting this specifically for those people who feel the need to defend Jergovic.😂
