Woke up right after a crazy dream

Here is what happened to me this morning:
I was dreaming—I was back together with my ex (we broke up three years ago, and honestly, my entire life shifted after that; there is absolutely no interest in reconciling, etc., etc.), and we were out at a social gathering. Everyone else there was a stranger, yet somehow the atmosphere felt perfectly comfortable and easy. Then, out of nowhere and for no reason at all, I rushed into another room (it felt like a massive penthouse) and just started sobbing... and I mean full-on, hysterical wailing... it was awful...
He comes in shortly after and tries to comfort me with hugs, saying, "Don't cry, look, I'll tell you a joke!" and I actually start to get interested, and then...

My alarm goes off: 'Susan King2, the office needs you.'

What a total buzzkill.

I absolutely loathe when that happens... I LOVE dreaming... sometimes I feel like I could sleep through my entire life without a shred of guilt... though, of course, that isn't entirely true...

Does this ever happen to you guys? Getting ripped out of a dream just like that... grrrgh

I swear, I always seem to wake up right in the middle of some killer hookup. But never when I'm being chased by a group of guys—man, if only...

I’ve honestly never had an orgasm in my sleep—not just during sex, but actually while dreaming. I swear, I spend the whole night trying to get there with Ben, but it just won't happen.
I always end up waking up as frustrated as hell!

Yeah, when I was a kid, my dreams were actually pretty epic adventures. But now that I'm older? They just get stupider, uglier, and more pathetic by the day... occasionally there's some random sexual dream, but they always cut out way too fast.👎

Since you brought up sexual dreams... they don't happen to me very often, but when they do, they feel incredibly vivid (just like anyone else's, really)... and let’s just say I reach climax non-stop during them. Just to clear up any potential confusion: I have absolutely no trouble reaching climax during actual sex in real life either. I wouldn't want there to be any misunderstanding about that!

On a different note, when it comes to nightmares, I usually wake up before anything happens, so I can only wonder what would have occurred... though sometimes I actually wish I could dream a nightmare all the way through... just to see if I could transform into Wonder Woman, you know!?

There is nothing quite as frustrating as being in the middle of an incredible dream, only to have my phone alarm blast me awake right at the peak. It is truly the worst feeling.

It really is something else how much women get out of those kinds of dreams. As for me, I usually have to make a mad dash for the bathroom just to change my boxers because, well... ahem! 🙄 👎

I haven't had a nightmare in five years—not since I achieved tensegrity-master status—and yet, last night I dreamt I was strangling some pale, sinister guy in black who was trying to choke me...

Now my "wet dreams" usually get about halfway through the job before I inevitably wake up right before the climax.
