I’m arguing with Lukic, and the fool won't listen when I tell him that some people are such parasites that they make me look like a saint by comparison.😳

Meanwhile, I'm just over here sketching and doing other bits and pieces on the side.πŸ™‚

For instance, I put this avatar togetherhttp://web.vip.hr/watashi_man.vip/Sk...atashiiiii.gif though I am currently working on an improved version using the same image.πŸ™‚

As for intoxicants, there's a distinction: hallucinogens are for listening, alcohol is for talking, and herbal stuff is for smelling.

Every single one of them leads to a mess; too much of the first makes you believe every lie you hear, the second turns you into a loudmouth spouting nonsense, and the third just knocks you out until you stop trying to wake up.

Anything that feels good creates a dependency, yet truly few people take drugs just to feel miserable.πŸ™„

When it comes to substances, I look at it this way: hallucinogens make you listen, alcohol makes you talk, and herbal products just put you to sleep.

Each one brings its own brand of trouble. With the first, you start believing every single thing you hear. With the second, you end up blathering any nonsense that pops into your head. And with the third, you just drift off and stop making any effort to wake back up...

Everything that feels good creates a dependency, yet honestly, very few people actually touch narcotics because they don't want to feel like crap.

😲 😲 😲 REALITY CHECK! 😁 😁 😁 πŸ˜‰

An old nun had been bathing the priest for years, but one day
she wasn't feeling up to it, so she walked a young novice through the whole routine:
how much to heat the water, which soap to use, and all that nonsense.

She made sure to emphasize that she absolutely must not look at the priest's private
areasβ€”and if she did happen to see them, she was to obey his every command.

So, the novice finished bathing the priest, and the older nun intended to stay quiet about
what actually happened.
- "Oh, sister, I have to tell you, I'm saved! I'm going straight to heaven!" the young
novice chirped, practically beaming.
- "First, I gave him a bubble bath, and then he grabbed my hand, led me over to this hard object, and told me it was the key to paradise. He said if it fits my lock, I’ll go straight to glory when I die."
- "He really said that?" the older nun asked, stunned.
- "Yes! Then he wanted to test my lock. He inserted the key to heaven, and at first, it hurt quite a bit, but he told me the path to eternal bliss
is long and grueling, and that I had to be brave and patient because eventually, I'd feel
unbelievable joy. And that's exactly how it went," the young novice concluded,
looking utterly thrilled.

The older nun snapped back at her:
- "Damn her! He told me it was Gabriel's trumpet, and I've been blowing into it diligently for forty
years!"

I couldn't help myself. Had to share this mess with you all.

Haha 😁 😁

I really should send this joke over to the New York Times; they ought to reach out to all the ladies who have already made it to heaven. Honestly, I suspect there’s quite a crowd waiting thereβ€”both the saints and everyone else too...😁

What actually happens to us when we hit those altered states of consciousness via psychoactives? It depends on what you’re tripping on while soberβ€”me, for instance, I'm the captain of the Titanic, sailing across the Atlantic, but this time I actually save everyone from sinking.

Why are they so complicated?β€”If they weren't, everyone could have them. Right now, they're just for the privileged. (God, imagine if everyone started saving the Titanicβ€”I'd never be a hero.)

Why do they have such a reckless tendency to drag you toward addiction or total isolation?β€”Because by the time you remember you have to come back down, my head is already spinning.

Is there any way to make them actually useful?β€”Sure. For example, I use a discarded pot as a lovely little decorative piece. Should probably advertise that in a magazine about Feng shui and natural flora. And you can string beautiful necklaces out of seeds. Better than that polymer clay junk. Plus, it's natural.

When and how is it okay to take them?β€”Anytime, anywhere, with anyone. (I could have answered that better, but I can't be bothered.)

What's the link between intoxication and mysticism?Once you sober up, you realize how truly mysterious it is to wake up in a ditch12 miles away from home.

Drinking coffee, tea, various brews... how do they affect our internal energy flows?Transpsychotically and quite purifyingβ€”initial euphoria, heart racing, vision blurring, pupils dilating, and then the moment you realize you've been drinking my mom's herbal tonic, everything clears up instantly.

How do scents affect the brain?β€”Depends on the scent; cow manure induces mild euphoria, sweat predisposes you to fainting, intense foot odor paralyzes the respiratory centers, and so on.

How are constitutional homeopathic remedies determined?β€”On the principle of "fighting fire with fire," or "if someone hits you with a rock, hit them back with a bigger one"β€”the drunk gets wine, the addict gets drugs, the foodie gets a feast, and so forth.

How does art and other creative expression affect us?β€”Mostly by driving us to try and pick up a date, attempting to prove we aren't the uncultured hillbillies we look like at first glance. Or seeing how the yellow in van Gogh's paintings clearly outlines his suicidal tendencies, since yellow is the color of madmen. Sometimes Picasso comes as a comfort, because at least our scribbles on paper seem to have some kind of meaning.

Why is it so important for talismans to have a physical form?β€”Well, even bodyguards have a physical form. And the suffix "-mani" comes from the English word "man" (plural), which inherently implies a physical shape. Since talismans are meant for protection, it makes sense that they're tangible.

Whew, there. I gave it my all. So, am I an initiate now?

Why isn't Matthew Doyle73 drawing any faster?

Ugh, this is a heavy one. It’s going to take at least six weeks of deep meditation, several long posts, and maybe some total isolation just for me to even wrap my head around what you're asking, let alone come up with an answer...

πŸ™„ 😁 😁

Damn, I missed a few questions. My brain's getting old on me. πŸ™„

-When we drink coffee, tea, or other beverages... how do they affect our body's energy flows?

It varies.

-How do scents impact the brain?

They're stimulating!

-How are constitutional homeopathic remedies determined?

Through psychophysical testing or even just a quick assessment.

-How do visual arts and other forms of artistic expression affect us?

See the answer under "scents."

-Why is it so important for talismans to have a physical form?

To help you better believe in the non-existent things you're working with.

Better? 😳

Edward Patel81 says:

How do you actually pick constitutional homeopathic remedies? Basically, is it based on that "fight fire with fire" logicβ€”like giving wine to a drunkard, drugs to an addict, or junk food to a foodie? Or what?

😁 😁

Ugh, Edward Patel81, I love everything else you said, but this part...

There’s absolutely no "fighting fire with fire" in homeopathy. Who even came up with that idea for this practice? 😲
How exactly are they determined? Should I start a whole new thread just for this? 😁

To put it very, very simply: it’s based on the totality of the individualβ€”their entire personality profile. There are no "matching opposites" here!

For example, IL could be Veratrum V. 😁 (just kidding)
