Would you get your kids vaccinated against COVID?

Of course not—that is my fundamental right as both a parent and her legal guardian. Once she hits eighteen, she’ll have all the autonomy she wants.

Kids really are ideal carriers... my little guy brought it home last year, he was totally fine obviously, but I honestly don't know where I'll run if they make vaccinations mandatory??

Where exactly would you run to? I mean, plenty of kids aren't even vaccinated against TB right at the hospital, yet they're out living their lives—it's not like you can just retreat to the Rockies. Who knows, maybe it's exactly a kid like that sitting right next to mine in class...

Go ahead and explain why that isn't an issue, and give us some actual numbers on how many people are actually like that...

Between my English assignment and trying to wrap my head around literary devices, I think I totally garbled my point. I wasn't being clear enough—I am NOT in favor of forcing anyone to get vaccinated, especially not kids. That was the whole point...

Nobody is being forced to get vaccinated, and nobody wants to be, so there isn't much point in arguing about that part. The whole question is just about voluntary vaccination for kids—whether parents decide to go through with it or not.

I suppose I can't say for sure. I don't live in some tiny rural town, so I don't exactly have a front-row seat to the endless cycle of medical histories and local drama unfolding there...
It isn't an issue because, personally speaking, it doesn't affect me. My child is vaccinated.

It won't happen, but honestly, just requiring some kind of proof that a kid was vaccinated or tested before they can step foot in a daycare, school, or a pediatric ward at a place like Mayo Clinic is plenty. It’s all just a fancy euphemism for mandatory shots anyway, because let’s be real—most families in this country aren't exactly swimming in cash to blow on endless testing fees, not to mention how much it totally messes with a kid's head to deal with all that constant medical scrutiny.
