Any common virus can leave lasting effects... we don't go around vaccinating kids with mRNA shots against every single minor virus they might encounter.

The consensus among most virologists is that this is simply another highly adapted coronavirus. The mortality rate among the elderly is primarily driven by the fact that they haven't been exposed to similar viruses enough times to build up natural immunity.

Besides, the FDA set the efficacy threshold for approval at 50%. So, a 40% difference isn't actually that massive...

When people talk about vaccines, there's always this recurring argument that long-term side effects might not surface for many years, which is why I find this line of questioning a bit confusing.

50% efficacy against what, exactly?

I wonder if any of those self-appointed internet warriors have actually bothered to wrap their heads around why schools act as such perfect breeding grounds for viruses to just sit and simmer before spreading everywhere.

American scientists have found that teenagers face a greater likelihood of developing vaccine-related myocarditis than being hospitalized due to COVID-19.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...suggests-study

According to American researchers, healthy boys are more likely to be hospitalized for rare myocarditis caused by the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine than for complications from COVID-19 itself.

Their analysis of medical data suggests that boys aged 12 to 15 with no underlying health conditions are four to six times more likely to be diagnosed with vaccine-related myocarditis than to require hospitalization for COVID-19 over a four-month period.

Just keep in mind, this is a preprint study, so plenty of people are pushing back on it. Here’s one critique from another scientist who isn't buying it.

Children are actually the key to stopping the spread caused by immunocompromised individuals. A child's immune system is robust enough to brush off a virus like a minor nuisance, picking it up from the environment after those with weakened systems have introduced it. Most kids don't even show symptoms; they neutralize the virus at the very first line of defense. In reality, the true reservoirs for accumulating and spreading viruses are people like Xavier Becerra, who disregard health protocols, or those gripped by vaccine anxiety, where constant stress can compromise their own immunity.
And even then, nobody cares if Xavier Becerra or some other person chooses to get vaccinated, because everyone is free to protect themselves however they see fit.

So, why bother spreading misinformation, and why would you ever want to target children with needles?

That isn't a study; those are raw data points. Data represents facts presented in a formal structure. Facts do not simply vanish because of how people choose to interpret them.

Honestly, for kids, COVID is such a minor thing that it’s almost negligible, and just hearing people bring up vaccination makes me feel physically ill.

Don't get all philosophical on me. This is just a preprint. Even if it weren't, you can't just throw around claims like that. Raw data has to be processed using actual scientific methods first, and then medically interpreted to figure out if there's even a cause-and-effect relationship happening here.

Because you're talking nonsense... apparently viruses just manifest and spread through some kind of spiritual energy, I get it... they don't actually pass from one person to another... it's funny because on other threads here you guys provide these exhaustive 3D analyses of every tiny detail, yet somehow this obvious, transparent garbage completely escapes your notice... I honestly don't know... how you can even bring yourself to write such absurdities... I really don't.

The data has already been processed and stands as it is. The issue is that these findings contradict your narrative, so you are fighting them tooth and nail. You are simply using Freudian rationalization to remain loyal to your preconceived notions. However, nobody cares about your narratives or your justifications. Formalized facts will always supersede intellectual constructs.

No amount of 3D modeling or similar nonsense can change the fact that people without symptoms can still serve as reservoirs for spreading infection. In reality, those with more severe symptoms act as the primary reservoirs. Stronger symptoms indicate a higher number of attacked cells. More attacked cells mean a higher viral load. The elderly and the immunocompromised experience more intense symptoms, making them the main hubs for accumulating and spreading the virus. Children are essentially the opposite. Why do you persist in spreading misinformation? Why would anyone try to pressure kids with needles?

I mean, broadly speaking, that’s all true... but there's a catch. Given how this forum operates, and seeing how much energy goes into defending a specific viewpoint, aren't you just philosophizing about a subject you clearly haven't grasped? You're talking extensively about absolutely nothing, yet somehow convinced that you'll manage to persuade someone that you actually know what you're talking about. If that's the case, then the alternative is frankly a bit unsettling...

You can tell someone else they're spreading information all you want... acting like whoever shouts first wins the argument... lol... what a joke... just because you're in the dark doesn't mean everyone else is too...
Yeah, you are spreading misinformation... and you're doing it quite deliberately, if you ask me... I only need to say it once, and any person with a shred of common sense will see right through it... 👍

but I guess you're trying..

And you and your colleagues think you're just sharing an opinion? If that's true, maybe you guys are more naive than I thought. It’s probably going to be way harder to move past this pandemic. You'd think people would at least get some kickback for all this propaganda to keep things from going back to normal.

I am here to expose misinformation and hollow arguments. Just as I have already done in your case.

It seems you have lost all sense of reality now that I’ve exposed your position. You are denying basic facts by clinging to the fantasy that the healthiest segment of our population—children—serves as a primary reservoir for spreading disease. Once caught in a lie, you simply retreat into rhetorical performances to save face. I am asking you again: Why target children? Why propagate lies and misinformation regarding kids? Who is funding you? What you are doing borders on criminal behavior.

I’ve never felt the need to nitpick how someone writes before, but acting like you're some intellectual genius while misspelling "God" as "cod" is honestly hilarious.

Kid, you are incredibly dense. Someone really needs to tell you that.

A minute ago, you were acting like this wasn't some study and these weren't just numbers, but straight-up facts. Now, suddenly, they've become "processed data," which I guess is an upgrade from whatever you were thinking before. And hey, check out this new development: apparently, I have a "narrative" now. 🙂

Therapy for kids to fix "complexes" should be illegal.
Now that they've run out of targets among adults, they're coming for the kids.

The whole system is just a breeding ground 🤣 for some seriously twisted mentalities.

Closing down schools was supposed to be their big win, but it turned into a total disaster.
States that kept their schools open fared just as well as the ones that shut them down.

There’s one single, damn reason why.

Later.

That pretty much sums up your whole stance: "Yeah, you're basically right, but since I don't view you as an authority, I'm just going to ignore everything you said."
