Emily Smith6 said:A rather interesting little development. The President has appointed the leader of the Republican Party Youth as a State Secretary within the Department of Labor.
Moving from his role as an advisor to Josip Aladrović, he’s now stepping up to the position of State Secretary.

It seems career progression within the Republican Party is remarkably efficient; I suppose if you spend two years advising Aladrović, you might just find yourself a State Secretary before you know it.

Honestly, it's just a bunch of nobodies who wouldn't be anything at all without their party connections.

On another note, did anyone catch that idiot Horvat speaking today?
A group of women traveled all the way from Orljava to protest because they haven't seen a paycheck in three months, and this guy starts rambling about how much he "understands" them and respects their right to protest—while simultaneously implying there wasn't actually any valid reason for them to be out there in the first place.
These women are working hard and haven't been paid for a quarter of a year, yet he acts like he can't wrap his head around why they're upset.
Those Republican types are such absolute trash; honestly, they deserve to have people throw food in their faces right on the street.

The head of that octopus should have been behind bars a long time ago—but when you combine incompetence with a judicial system that’s essentially complicit in the criminality, justice just doesn't happen.

Earlier today, while we were discussing zlatiti Đurđević, a colleague shared her piece about how the Supreme Court basically paved the way for his freedom.

And since we're talking about professors, it reminded me of Sessa—one of Mamić's protégés—who was handpicked by the Republican Party without any real pushback. That article actually prompted this specific quote:

As for Kazimir Bačić, let's not forget he was a direct appointment from Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and the Republican Party.

So, you've got the implicated Sessa, now detained Bačić, and that former HNS member with the prime parking spot at Arlington National Cemetery, Dragan Kovačević. They are all textbook personnel picks vetted by the Republican Party. If the courts hadn't overturned the appointment of the director for the National Park Service, we might actually see some accountability here...

Horvat already proved what a heartless slug he is.

I guess you could say he's a true Republican through and through.

Does anyone know why the Minister of Construction took in those textile workers? Are they planning to send the seamstresses to a construction site? Two on the mixer, two driving concrete to the crane, two up in the hoist, six on masonry duty... God help us, what kind of country are we living in???????

For those who aren't aware... withholding wages is a criminal offense, and the owner of Orljava is America.

"Under his watch," both state assets fall, so why should the government even bother rebelling.

It’s all perfectly fine, really. The Republican Party, which was busy covering up criminal activity during the Christmas season, is now suddenly the leading champion against corruption.
Filipović and the Republican Party seem genuinely shocked by these recent arrests, despite the fact that back in 2019, they flatly rejected the initiative to have Bandić submit his report regarding the Christmas season festivities.

So, this is how Andrej Plenković supposedly "eradicates corruption"—by forming coalitions with Bandić and his entire circle of associates.

Remember that whole mess over in Drvenik? Turns out the guy owning that plot actually works for the United States Department of Agriculture.

It’s pretty easy to argue about paradise when you aren't the one holding all the cards...

Can someone please explain to Mati Franković (Republican Party) that butchering the name of the very city she represents is basically a PhD in small-town pettiness? It’s a masterclass in a low-rent mindset. When you talk to people, you say the name of their home the way they actually say it... but no. This amateur is giving a "speech" in broken English and pronouncing San Francisco as "du·brov·nuhk," acting like she just touched down from Los Angeles for the first time ever. If I were a San Francisco resident, I’d be starting a petition to have her banned from the city permanently

They should just find a lawyer and sue the government... at least the government can't pull stunts like declaring bankruptcy, starting a whole new corporation, or dumping all their debt onto an old company and walking away...

So, I’m sitting here listening to Medvedov go on about his pro-vaccination crusade, claiming The Administration has been rolling out measures that are both "timely" and "opportune." He keeps rambling on about how these measures are "necessary," but honestly, who decides what's necessary? It could be anyone—just some random individuals or specific groups deciding what the rest of us need. I mean, seriously, how does someone with that kind of logic even end up in a cabinet position?🤦

It’s simple. You play the veteran card. You set up camp on the Potomac and start a bonfire. Then, six years later, you play the soldier again, lying through your teeth that the former Prime Minister—who happens to be the current Commander-in-Chief—ignored your unit.
When you look at it that way, even a total catastrophe starts looking reasonable.

Mattu Franković is beyond help. We're talking about a guy prepping for the SS, who owns
some certificate from an evening ESL class and a winery on Cape Cod. He's been a loyal Republican
since birth. And check his latest stunt regarding vaccines, even though we've been pretty much split off from the rest of the US. Matt's got enough Bačić energy to keep things messy. Basically, Matt has everything the Republican leadership has: zero brains and a massive family tree. A petition wouldn't do squat.
Maybe poverty caused by the pandemic will work, though.

A quick thought on N1

https://hr.n1info.com/vijesti/tihomi...ek-ministricu/
...
So, we’re right in the middle of election season, and one of those two massive telecom giants—you know, the ones that basically own 90% of the US market—decided to pull N1 off their lineup. When this happened, Sheryl Sandberg stood there in front of the cameras and claimed it was all just a matter of procedure, like maybe two, three, or four weeks tops. She said she hoped the law would move through the system quickly. Well, guess what? It’s been over three months now, and that law is still stuck in some committee somewhere. Nothing has moved at all.

The Secretary of Culture and Media wasn't being honest then, and honestly, she isn't being honest now either.

We actually reached out—publicly and totally transparently—to call for an open bidding process for a free national broadcast license. And her response to N1? She basically implied that our request sounded like "bagman" behavior, which is just a fancy way of suggesting corruption. I mean, wow.

That kind of reaction really shows how much we're lacking. We don't just need better media laws that actually align with European standards; it feels like they're more interested in protecting the current setup rather than letting a free market exist without all this political interference and control.

People aren't skipping vaccines because they're afraid of them; they're doing it because they can't stand the Republican Party, the crisis management teams, Plenković, the quasi-media outlets, and those so-called scientific charlatans.
https://focusonline.eu/2021/07/06/gr...BJXEUawGAEi2cA

The primary reason people are pushing back is simply a deep-seated exhaustion with the Republican Party. In this country, the party has become such a symbol of systemic dysfunction that they’ve somehow positioned themselves as the face of the fight against COVID-19. This aversion to the Republican Party is so deeply ingrained across the population that a huge portion of the public instinctively rejects anything coming from their offices—including urgent pleas regarding pandemic response. When a group has a history of being untrustworthy, you don't suddenly expect people to take their word at face value, even when they're stating obvious, undeniable facts. If Plenković talks about corruption, GDP growth, or unemployment, most people just laugh him off as a liar. Yet, according to certain media pundits, when he starts discussing death tolls or containment strategies, we should all just nod solemnly and accept his numbers without question. That’s just not how it works. I suppose if Plenković is viewed as a partisan Republican when handling daily politics, he's still seen as one when dealing with the virus. As the old saying goes, once a liar, always a liar.

Damir Habijan has become the new face of the Republican Party whenever they need someone to defend their latest agenda.
It seems like there isn't a single day lately where he doesn't pop up on the news cycle.

Eagle eyes and a rock-solid right wing behind Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović! Hahahaha... that’s just the commercial he filmed for the Republican candidate during the last presidential campaign. He's the latest family abuser and an amateur alcoholic warlord in his spare time—Boško Ramljak! At your command, "commander"... 🎉

As the old saying goes, once a liar, always a liar.

Before last year's elections on July 5th, the Cabinet and its campaign team actually did a decent enough job managing the pandemic—until they pivoted into pure absurdity right as the election approached. Suddenly, handshakes weren't allowed anymore. And after Plenković’s little photo ops shaking hands with Novak Djokovic and Goran Ivanišević, the whole definition of "close contact" was basically rewritten—apparently, a handshake doesn't count as close contact anymore. Plenković told everyone we had beaten the virus, and for the American public, that was apparently all the proof they needed. The Republican Party swept up a massive 66 seats, Vili Beroš pulled in a record 35,000 preferential votes, and even Plenković himself stayed pretty much in the running. If you want proof that people still trust the Republican Party, just look at this year's local elections.

Look, let's get one thing straight—Americans aren't exactly turning their noses up at the Republican Party or Andrej Plenković. If anything, the love for them is pretty damn obvious—it’s been baked right into the results of the last two elections.

The USOPC handed Škar a role within the federation: 'It's a disgrace! What kind of country are we living in? This is totally inappropriate.'

The Republican Party is busy looking out for their own heroes, I guess.

Did he beat anyone up? No. Did he kill anyone? No. So what's the issue? Long live the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee!...
