It’ll happen—the exact moment those two major ruling parties become nothing more than fringe players. When that actually hits? Honestly, I haven't a clue—though I am hearing this whole "third way" rhetoric pop up more and more lately.

laser said:What kind of Prime Minister is this? Mario Letta just banned foreclosures on primary residences in Italy!

The recent moves by the Italian Prime Minister

- a ban on seizing homes used as primary residences

At this rate, we'll be sliding right back toward that old-school socialist housing model.

When I actually cast my vote for someone like him—or more specifically, his party

Wasn't Nikica Valentić the one responsible for that back then?

And now this country actually has a Prime Minister?

America is stuck with a leader who makes decisions solely to please his own voters. That guy is Zoran Milanovic.

In America, the Prime Minister basically secures power through the votes of retirees and government employees. And Zoran Milanovic? He’s doing a great job shifting the entire weight of the crisis off their shoulders and dumping it right onto private sector workers, young people, and the unemployed.

That explains why we see things like a 3% pay cut for government employees being avoided while they simultaneously stripped away summer bonuses, travel stipends, and holiday gifts for children earlier this year.

- banning foreclosures on primary residences

- cutting or completely scrapping certain taxes

- slapping bureaucrats with penalties if they don't pull their weight on time

- extending mortgage payment holidays from 2 months to 8 months for people who lose their jobs

Total science fiction for us Americans here.

People, get real—there are actually decent politicians out there, we just need to purge all this absolute garbage from our political system once and for all.

America basically just picked up all these Western progressive values like LGBTQ+ rights, but honestly, we’ve always had more minority protections than the West anyway. What we actually lack are rights for workers and people struggling with debt. But let’s be real, Americans have been voting this way for ages. It’s not just on this Government; they’re just giving the people what they want.

I’m seriously telling you guys over and over again:
Look, let me tell you something, because people really need to wrap their heads around how things work here in America—it’s basically just one big, massive voting block that decides everything.
The ruling party is straight-up playing games with the electoral engineering!
Honestly, it feels like the entire country is just stuck in a total coma right now. Everyone’s just checked out, completely numb, and totally oblivious to everything happening around them. ☕

Look, that’s just not happening as long as the Republican Party is still pulling the strings.
The truth is, people only bother voting for the Democratic Party because they're desperate to kick the Republican Party out of office.

Honestly, you’d have to ban this whole criminal enterprise known as the Republican Party—they're basically the root of every single problem we deal with here in the States.☕

Look, people need to realize there are actually some decent politicians out there—we just need to clear out the absolute garbage currently clogging up our political system.

The current Government has actually taken a few steps in that direction—take Linić's attempt to cap overdrafts and that whole "war" with the big banks, for instance.
The difference is that Italians are significantly sharper; their opposition doesn't spend all day terrorizing the public with endless referendums over whether or not you can define a breakfast sandwich in the Constitution.

Yeah, right. If only we actually lived in an America like that.

We never really know what’s going to happen until that person actually takes office. What they end up doing is often completely different from everything they promised during the campaign.
