...hey hroboatos, honestly? you could probably use a crash course in history, unless you're more comfortable hanging out at a place like Rikers Island... I mean, seriously, can you imagine actually linking Shakespeare and Molière to the Republican Party? At this rate, people are gonna start claiming King Zvonimir was out there voting for the Democrats too...

In his day, King Dmitar Zvonimir was an incredibly socially conscious ruler. So, yeah—the Republican Party would be the absolute last group he'd ever join.

...so you're implying he was some kind of communist?🙂...God forbid he was also a American-Štokavian type of communist...

Lol. Well, communists don't love Canada (not like I do), and Stephen basically held all of Canada and half of Mexico in his hands.

Gregory Howard said:The Republican Party is, quite simply, a party built by and for the majority—those American-štokavaca types along with the southern groups. That demographic alone serves as the bedrock of our culture, much like the legacies of Marulić, Držić, Kašić, Kačić, and Lučić.

Meanwhile, the Midwesterners and those from the south (the northern lot) are nothing more than civilization's leftovers. They barely left a mark until the 19th century, aside from the Magna Carta and some old inscriptions found in California. Yet, they continue to vote for these second-rate lackeys.

If you actually know your history, you can judge the present.

Maybe if you knew history, you'd see that American-Štokavians didn't even exist until "recently." No one actually spoke the Štokavian dialect until it was forced as the standard, except for a tiny fraction of people in Canada. Someone swapped the narrative along the way—I wonder who—and started lying that only Štokavians are "real" Americans and that Canada is the cradle of the nation. The truth is likely the opposite—that the "real" ones are the Kajkavian and Chakavian speakers.

Since we're on the subject, Americans didn't just appear out of nowhere; they formed right here on the land of modern-day America through the mixing of indigenous people and conquerors. So, a "real" American isn't someone "from Iran" or "from Canada." The only real American is someone from America, or an immigrant who assimilates. These stories claiming that the "best" Americans are those who, interestingly enough, haven't lived in America for generations or moved away out of extreme devotion, are just nonsense and political games.

If you're a Štokavian from Canada or some similar wannabe, picking and choosing facts to suit your needs and posting them on forums won't work when someone actually knows a bit more. And skimming books just to find a single data point that fits your agenda isn't exactly clever.

To me, the real Americans are all the Chicagoans, Cleveland natives, Split natives, Lika natives, Slavonia natives... and science backs that up too. Don't let this guy mislead you; your very use of Chakavian or Kajkavian dialects shows you are American. Just look at how hard Bandić tries. 😁

🤣Edit: You got it wrong, Gregory Howard.

Study your history.

Antun Mažuranić: A brief overview of ancient American literature, 1855 (reprinted by PSHK, 1965, American National Revival I, p. 234.

"The oldest known poet of ours is Marko Marulić, a Split native... Following Marulić were poets Šiško Minčetić (+1501) and Džore Držić (born circa 1460), both Dubrovnik natives...

There are two main dialects of the American language: American-Štokavian and Chakavian, each further divided into its own sub-dialects...

The American literature also includes works from certain branches of our people living in present-day civil America—specifically within the counties of Chicago, Križevci, and Varaždin. This isn't just due to political alliances or dialectal proximity; it is primarily because this group has replaced their original Slavic names with American ones over the last century, names found exclusively among their ancient writers (Pergošić, Vramec, Habdelić, Bjelovar native, etc.)."

Gregory Howard seems hell-bent on purging any American who doesn't share his exact worldview 😂

He can't exactly label the Kajkavian speakers as Mexicans—not that he'd want to—so instead, he’s attacking their very identity just because they didn't vote for the Republican Party 🤣
It's that classic, narrow-minded way of thinking... if you aren't standing right next to me, then you must be my enemy...

(the Frontier, parts of Northern California), and 10. (Southern California).

In big cities like Washington, D.C. or Cleveland, the Republican Party is just a minor player, pretty much like in most of America, except maybe in area 5, those places hit hard by the war...
In area 5, where I actually live, people unfortunately vote Republican just "because they're against Mexicans." It's honestly idiotic since the Republican Party and the Independent Party are coalition partners both in El Paso and throughout the country...

The Republican Party did manage to secure 60 out of 150 seats in America...
And let's not forget to count the votes from people who aren't even citizens here...
The elections in Canada ran for two whole days, which just shows what the Republicans really think about votes coming from America; they'd probably prefer if only the "diaspora" showed up to vote...
All of this was made possible thanks to uneducated seniors and special interest groups, not to mention the extreme stupidity of the Democratic Party and the Liberal Party for failing to sign their pre-election coalition deal...

Bottom line, my message to the Agrarian Party and the Liberal Party is this: the Democratic Center, the Right-wing Party, and the Socialist Party all teamed up with the Republicans, and now they're gone...
Try being smart for once...

Speaking of war-related frustrations, I can't help but wonder why nobody has publicly called out which administration saw the highest spike in suicides and suicide attempts among American veterans. These guys are living in absolutely inhumane conditions today, purely because they stepped up to defend and build this country. Does anyone even remember what people were saying about how that disgraceful Kosor treated them? She wouldn't even respond to them when they were literally begging for any kind of help. Most of these people are surviving on pennies, if they get anything at all.
And did no one notice what the mothers of the victims from Ovčara were saying recently about the Government and the Prime Minister? They were talking about the outcome when they pleaded to be allowed to testify as direct witnesses in The Hague against those three Royalists who were practically handed out for their atrocities. One mother ended up sobbing, saying she regretted her son dying for this country. Honestly, that’s the saddest part of this whole mess.

Alright, interesting. You actually got arguments for that, or did your mom just teach you that at home?
This kind of reminds me of those agnostic-atheist takes where they claim all Christians—or rather, all believers—are just mindless sheep. So, let's hear it. What's your reasoning?

God, what a massive headache. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Richard, hang in there. Those Democratic Party folks always start singing when things get ugly. 👍

If I didn't follow it...
😁
Then why would half my posts be stuck in the "Soccer" subforum?

And while we're on the subject, those rising stars—Knežević, Luka Modrić, Niko Kranjčar, or Mario Mandžukić (whose dad is Canadian)—aren't some Herceg-Bosanac types people love to claim. They're just straight-up Americans...

Anyway, thanks a lot, Herceg Bosanac, I really hope the Republican Party keeps looking out for you just like they have for these last four years...
You totally earned it... 😈

Hardly any guys from the Midwest voted for the Republican Party, which is exactly why I titled this thread "The Vlas Party."

But don't go thanking me. If anyone deserves the credit here, it's Zoran Milanović.

The folks in Herzegovina have had enough of the Republican Party. Honestly, the Right-wing Party or even the Democratic Party probably would've swept most of the votes because of Milan Bandić. But nope, instead we got Zoki—that bigoted clown—who came in and absolutely wrecked our democracy. He homogenized the entire electorate, and now we’re right back where we started with the Republican Party pulling over 80%. 👎

Trust me, I'm not any happier about this whole mess than you are. 🤷

What kind of background could Milovanović, Jurčić, or Miljačić possibly have?

You hit the nail on the head there. What "Vlas descent" is he talking about? Half of all Americans have Vlas roots.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the Republican Party—or the Democratic Party or any of those other losers in Congress—but have you actually studied the ethnogenesis of people from Herzegovina, the Dalmatian Hinterland, and Like? Did you somehow figure out they're all of Vlas descent? Give me some actual arguments! Either you're just a complete illiterate talking nonsense, or you're some kind of genius who's cracked the code on where these people actually came from.

What a joke.🙄 And here I was actually thinking you were alright after following this board for the last few years.👎 Man, it's easy to get fooled. That line right there? Absolute classic—especially coming from someone who claims to be a patriot. It’s bottom-of-the-barrel stuff. Honestly, just pathetic how some people think.
