Is it just me, or is it getting impossible to enjoy sports or even just hang out in a crowd without someone catching an attitude? I was watching a game the other day and the tension in the stands was just palpable. It’s not even about the score anymore; it’s like everyone is just waiting for a reason to take offense or start a confrontation.

I used to love going to live events because of that shared energy, but lately, it feels like every single disagreement—no matter how small or niche—turns into a massive, shouting match. You see these players or owners getting caught in the crossfire of these huge social debates, and it feels like the actual sport is becoming secondary to the politics of the moment. It’s exhausting to watch.

It feels like we've lost the ability to just exist in the same space without things turning toxic or people feeling like they have to pick a side in every single interaction.

Does anyone else feel like the "vibe" of being a fan is totally changing because of how heated these debates have become?
