Best laptop under $2,500?

Hey everyone, quick question—I’m looking for a laptop around the $2,500 mark. It’s mostly just gonna be for basic stuff like Microsoft Office, handling faxes, and catching some movies. What would be the best bang for my buck at that price point?

It’d be a total no-brainer if you could just toss $100 onto this deal, because honestly, it's worth every penny.

Hey, I could use some help here. A neighbor asked me to find her a laptop for under $833. It’s gotta be something she can pay off in 12 monthly installments through an American credit card—and since she lives in a place like Austin, maybe check out Best Buy, Walmart, or maybe even Target... She definitely needs it to come with Windows pre-installed, because nobody around here knows how to install Win themselves. My area isn't really geared for this kind of thing, so any leads would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
