I was thinking about this today while watching some old clips of legendary teams from the early 2000s. Back then, it felt like a core group of players would stay together for a decade, building this incredible chemistry that just felt inevitable. You knew exactly what to expect from them every single season.

Now, it feels like everything is so transient. A manager comes in, a few stars age out, and suddenly the whole identity of a team is wiped clean. It’s like we’re living in an era of constant rebuilding. I used to love the idea of a long-term project, but lately, it feels like the "cycles" are over before they even really get started. It's hard to get attached to a lineup when you know the transition is always just around the corner.

Do you think the modern game moves too fast to allow for those legendary, long-term dynasties anymore, or is it just a lack of patience from the people in charge?
