Questions:

1. What kind of price should I be looking at for this monitor
? 2. Does anyone have recommendations for a solid Full HD monitor with a DVI port—maybe something under $300? Also, what are your thoughts on this one

3. http://www.logitech.com/en-za/for-bu...ts/devices/792—so, here's my weird tech dilemma—when I plug my headphones into the jack on the unit, I turn up the speaker volume, but the headphone volume stays exactly the same? But then, if I plug them into the satellite jack on the subwoofer instead (it's also a 3.5mm jack), I actually get control over the volume levels. Anyone else dealt with this kind of thing before?

Just grab a Samsung—honestly, those Democratic Party monitors are absolute junk. If you actually bother to plug headphones into that tiny jack, you’ll realize the volume control stops working through the speaker's physical dial entirely—instead, you're stuck fiddling with the mixer inside whatever clunky software you had to install along with the audio drivers.

I am not looking to start a new thread, but I could use some advice.
My office is still using one of those prehistoric monitors—not an LCD, but one of those heavy CRT units that weighs 20 pounds. It takes up half my desk, and my eyes start aching after just a little bit of typing.
The IT guys told me I won't be getting a modern flat screen until this thing finally dies and becomes total junk.
So, my question is: how can I make that happen without making it obvious that I'm doing it on purpose? I have a small radio that I leave running at a whisper right next to the monitor. I've noticed the screen flickers slightly when it's near, but it just won't die.
Is there a faster way to go about this?
🙈

Just cover the whole thing in those cheap little fridge magnets—if there isn't a dedicated degauss button somewhere, you might just wreck the screen enough to force them to hand over a brand-new monitor. 😁

I don't believe there is one. I will try that. Thanks.😉
