I’ve got a question for the admins here: What's the hold-up on having a dedicated thread for AC Milan? I mean, most forums have specific sections for major teams, right?

1. Let’s be real—AC Milan isn't just some random club. They've been arguably the most successful club on the planet over the last couple of decades—nobody else is stacking up international trophies quite like them at this point.
2. And before anyone hits me with that "what if every single club gets their own thread?" argument—that totally misses the point. Only the threads people actually care about would survive. The rest would just drift off to page fifty where nobody looks anyway.

I actually tried starting one yesterday, but it got locked almost immediately. Typical.

Cheers...

stormylynx92,

It doesn't make any sense to have a dedicated thread for AC Milan when we already have the Premier League topic. The only reason some American clubs get their own specific threads here is because our users are constantly demanding discussions about them, but for foreign teams, we just stick to the topics for their respective leagues.

Best,

Once you're back online, let's really dive into this—I'm curious. Which specific competitions were you counting?

I honestly don't think this even qualifies as something for the PZK anymore

I'm with you on that. Let's just take it to the DMs then.

Good afternoon—I was wondering if it might be possible to have my access to the pets section restored? It’s been about three years since I was banned... the reason being that I made a rather blunt comment about how my old man would just get rid of the extra kittens if a cat had more than two or three litters at once.

I honestly think a handful of major European clubs deserve their own dedicated threads, mostly because the fanbases are just too massive to ignore.
Most sports forums in the States have these kinds of sub-sections, so I’m genuinely stumped as to why things keep getting deleted over here...

Right now, everything related to the Premier League is just shoved into one giant bucket. If someone actually wants to talk about, say, AC Milan, what are they supposed to do? They have to dig through endless pages of clutter just to find a specific discussion or a news update—which is basically what I try to do myself.

Deleting threads isn't the answer. Threads for the big teams with actual traction will stay alive on their own, and if someone tries to start a thread for some obscure, bottom-tier club, it’ll just die out naturally anyway.
The point is, the active topics are the ones that survive. It should be in the forum's best interest to encourage more posting and keep as many active discussions going as possible.

I’m convinced we’d see way more chatter about football in general—whether it's the Premier League, Spanish leagues, or English ones—if the heavy hitters had their own spaces while still keeping the main league thread intact.
But hey, whatever you guys want to do. At the end of the day, being able to change your mind is a strength, not a flaw.

Just look at how much engagement you get on sites like ESPN or Bleacher Report when they break things down by specific powerhouse teams.

p.s. responding to Eric Newman75: I'm talking about trophies that come with a major title. Like the Champions League—being the best in Europe—and the Club World Cup. That's my metric for the last 20-25 years.
Even if you count every single international trophy ever won, AC Milan still holds the record for the most in history.
Anyway, doesn't matter—I wasn't suggesting that AC Milan should be the *only* one with its own section.

Cheers.

I get where you're coming from with this idea, but honestly, we’ve tried stuff like this before in years past. It wasn't the first attempt, and none of them ended particularly well. My concern is that the conversation will just get too diluted because there aren't enough active users here to sustain a dedicated thread. For instance, whenever AC Milan plays Inter Milan, we already end up splitting focus between two different threads—the Milan thread and the Premier League thread—and it’s nearly impossible to keep things from overlapping. You basically end up with two competing discussions running at once.

Anything you want to say regarding AC Milan, just toss it into the Premier League thread. I'm sure people will be interested in hearing your take on things there.

Whatever—I guess we aren't part of that "community" anymore. ☕

Well, why don't you just head down to Petco and pick out a python while you're at it? 😲
