Adding an extra Google address

Hey there,
I'm trying to get another location set up on our Google Business Profile, but man, it is proving to be way more complicated than I expected.

1. We already have our Corner Store listed, and now we're trying to add a second General Store under that same user account.
2. Every time we go through the "add business" steps and type in the info for the General Store, after just a couple of clicks, it loops back on itself. It either asks if we're the owner of the existing Corner Store account and kicks us right back to the home screen, or it gives us this choice where if we click the wrong thing, we'll probably end up stuck creating an entirely new Google account by mistake.

I've spent some time digging through YouTube tutorials and various help guides, but honestly, they all feel pretty half-baked and don't really get to the heart of the issue...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

(I don't know the first thing about any of this, so don't bother asking me questions about it)

Try adding the Corner Store to Google as a regular user first, then once they get listed, just claim it as the owner later.
(if I totally missed the mark on this one, my bad)
