Advanced app installation/uninstallation tips?

I feel like I've seen some kind of utility app before that handles installs and uninstalls. Basically, when you want to get rid of something, it wipes out every single trace because it mapped out all the file paths during the initial setup.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I’ve been using Revo Uninstaller lately—basically, instead of just hitting the standard "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows when I want to get rid of a piece of software or a game, I open this tool first. It lets me run the uninstaller and then specifically scans for all those annoying leftover files and registry junk so I can wipe them out completely.

I just installed "Revo Uninstaller Pro" and I'm trying to get rid of a program, but I'm not really sure which option to go with.
First off, I can't decide between install or quick uninstall.
After it does its thing (like backing up the registry and making a restore point), it pops up a window with three choices:
Safe - moderate -advanced
I guess, if I want to make sure every single trace of the program is gone, what should I pick?

Just run the advanced scan—that’s what I call the "aggressive" mode—and it should wipe out everything tied to that software.

So, I guess that's what they call a deep clean.
Can someone tell me the actual difference between these two options uninstall and quick uninstall? Which one is better, maybe?

I mean, just look at the names, man—it’s right there in plain English: "delete" versus "fast delete."
If you pick the regular uninstall, it's obviously going to be more thorough because it's doing the heavy lifting, it's just basic logic, really. 🙂 😱
