Right now, it feels like he’s just winning because he has the best machine on the grid. Honestly, watching races is getting a bit dull when you already know who's going to take the checkered flag—especially after that whole mess where Brichello was ordered to let him through in the final stretch... 🙄
Take Schumacher out of the equation and the racing gets interesting again. It reminds me of those classic battles between Prost and Senna. Or Mansell against the field... At this point, it doesn't even matter who finishes first, because that top spot feels like it's already reserved for Schumacher.
That’s just not true... with a dominant Ferrari like that, Brichello would have been the one standing on top of the podium... honestly... he might have even lost a few...
I don't quite get why being first matters so much just to make the race exciting. I mean, if I were rooting for Kimi and McLaren (playing the angel here), I'd be happy seeing them improve, even if it's just small steps forward... or if I were pulling for BAR, I'd settle for a podium...
If I were running Ferrari... Brichello would be out of there every single time, or I'd probably just hire some rookie instead of him... the end justifies the means, right?
I hope you caught his time at Benetton and the early days at Ferrari, because back then, he was driving cars that were way worse than what everyone else had...
If you want a fair comparison—those three wins he had at Ferrari in '96 are like if someone drove a Sauber today but had the reliability of an early season McLaren... you're just ignoring all the DNFs...
