Living with visual impairment in today’s world means navigating a constant stream of hurdles and obstacles that most people simply don't see. Our organization was founded to bring together the visually impaired community across America—which, according to recent statistics, includes roughly 15,000 individuals—to provide much-needed support. Specifically, we focus on helping people acquire assistive devices that make daily life significantly more manageable. The catch? These tools are often prohibitively expensive and, frankly, can be nearly impossible to source within the US. Beyond that, we want to educate the sighted public on what visual impairment actually entails, because let's be honest: most people have absolutely no clue how to interact with someone who is visually impaired.
