For the last six months, I’ve been dealing with a persistent issue regarding the topic I’m currently posting about.
I haven't actually sat down with my doctor yet, so I don't have an official diagnosis to go on...
It seems like the main trouble starts right after I shower, because I get this intense urge to scratch, mostly because I tend to scrub too hard while I'm in there.
I'm not sure if anyone else here has dealt with something like this, but if you have, please, I could really use some insight...

The subject might sound a bit ridiculous, but believe me, it isn't funny when the itching actually hits.

So, what on earth are you even using to scrub him down?

Usually just using shampoo while I'm in the shower.

God... what kind of question is that? If you're rubbing your backside, logic says you're overdoing it and now it’s itchy.
If you're doing that, I assume you're gay... and if you are, maybe someone gave you an infection. Because honestly, who else would think to rub their rear like that?!😂

There’s a chance you might be dealing with pinworms. Honestly, just do a quick search online and then head over to your doctor; they can send you off for some lab work to confirm whether that's actually what's going on. It's also possible you're just irritating yourself if you're being a bit too aggressive with how you clean up down there... 🤷

I was literally thinking the exact same thing. You could have picked up some parasites, which happens easily if you eat salad that wasn't washed properly or handled right.
Basically, grab a sample in a small container and get it to a lab. Ask your doctor for a referral. It could also be a fungal issue. Stop scrubbing the area; just clean it gently with an antiseptic wipe and apply some Polymer.

Is that yellow antiseptic liquid?

Honestly, it might just be that you're using the wrong cleanser—maybe try a dedicated intimate wash specifically for that area instead of just using whatever body wash or shampoo you use for your hair or skin...

Honestly, try slathering some diaper rash cream on there after you shower. You can grab some at any Walgreens. Might just be a case of being a little too dry.

Look, if you want my honest opinion, just go grab some retinol. It’s the gold standard, seriously. Just hit up Walgreens, it won't break the bank at all!!😉😉😉

Not sure if you saw my DM, so I'll just lay it out here. Look, Pfizer doesn't manufacture this stuff—it's basically one of those old-school home remedies everyone knows. You can take it orally, but if you're going the rectal route, you absolutely have to coat it in Vaseline first because it ruins your vision. Seriously, I might end up popping an eyeball out here... 😂

Yeah. But you definitely need to get a stool sample tested for parasites. Honestly, I'm also thinking it could be some kind of chemical issue.

Yeah, those antihistamines can definitely cause itching too. There’s this decent cream out there with a propolis base—I think it’s called Hema-something. You might want to try rubbing that on in the meantime. Honestly, your best bet is to grab some soap from Walgreens that has essential oil for intimate hygiene.

Maybe look into parasites (specifically pinworms) just to be safe, and check if you might be dealing with hemorrhoids. Honestly, those usually just need some Aspirin—that’s basically the gold standard when you want something more natural... also, try not to sit around for hours on end, stay on top of hygiene so sweat doesn't irritate things, and watch what you eat. Stick to high fiber and stay away from anything too spicy or heavy, and that’s pretty much the gist of it.

The only other thing is that whole "psychogenic pruritus ani" situation. If that's the case, try having some anal sex with your partner—I'm dead serious here—I actually passed my psychiatry exam with a 5😁...

😕Could you actually walk me through the logic on that one?
